Really good and professional. Adaptive to the needs of my dad and communicating week with other caregivers.
My dad seems really happy there and it has been a real comfort to my mum to know he is taken care of.

Mam has really settled here. I have every confidence that she is looked after. Mam can hit out at staff cause she is set in her ways, but the staff just take it, and if doesn't hit them, it's a bonus. This care home is Mam's forever home. You have to sign in at the front desk and are greeted by the
very pleasant staff and let in through the key-coded door. All the staff great you with a smile.

My mum is suffering from mid-late-stage dementia. After a number of distressing experiences in other 'care' homes, we found Holly Tree Lodge EMI Care Home. (Thank goodness!) The care, understanding, support and compassion that they give to my mum is exceptional! We (me and my dad) also feel very welcome.
I cannot thank them enough! Brilliant.

We have been very happy with the care my dad has had and think all the staff are wonderful people. The staff make my dad and us feel like part of a family.

Very happy with the care home and the care he's receiving. Can't comment on management, but seems nice enough. If we have a problem, the care staff act on it straight away. Very helpful. As for value for money, can't comment as still to be sorted.

From entering the building you are greeted with a smiling face. Safety is covered by signing in using a censored register, before being allowed into the dining area. All the staff are full of energy, pleasant and very professional. The entire social area is clean and tidy with plenty of seating for
residents. The food is cooked on site and often has my stomach grumbling with the scent of it as it wafts through the sitting area. The ladies and gentlemen on the staff have patience in an abundance and it is often needed when residents are having a difficult day. I feel comfortable leaving my grandmother here after each visit, as I know she is very well taken care of. She is in clean and dry clothes when we visit, as are the other residents and if an accident is had, they are cleaned up in a private zone of the home, to help them keep their dignity. I cannot thank the staff enough for the level of care they provide.

The staff at Holly Tree Lodge go above and beyond to give the best care to the residents, maintaining their dignity and interacting with them at all times. I cannot praise them enough - even with the pressures all care services are contending with at the moment, all the staff here go above and beyond
to provide a kind, caring environment for everyone. The food is good, home cooked and wholesome. Visitors are made welcome, and although rooms are simply decorated, they are exceptionally clean, and adding personal objects to make them feel more homely is actively encouraged, so residents can have familiar things around them. We as a family were shown the utmost care and concern during the period leading up to mums passing. People matter, and the people here really do work hard to give the best care possible.

My father has been a resident since December 2021 and he is very happy at Holly Tree Lodge. Every aspect of the care staff have provided, from keeping him and his room clean, ensuring he eats well and helping him to feel safe and comfortable have contributed to further improvement in his well-being.
He smiles a great deal now and enjoys being in the social areas more and more. The staff, from cleaners, carers, nurses, cooks to admin and management are all friendly and engaged with the residents and nothing is too much trouble. As a visitor, I always feel welcome too. He has some continuing health issues and it is so reassuring to see the careful monitoring and management of his conditions the nursing staff provide. I really enjoy visiting and enjoy the happy atmosphere between residents, staff and visitors. It is a welcoming place to be.

My mum has been at Holly Tree Lodge EMI Care Home for around two years now and my uncle was also a resident until his passing last September 2021. The care home is wlays kept clean and tidy, especially residents rooms. All staff are excellent, from kitchen, cleaners, care/nursing staff and office management.
As a family we are welcomed and looked after which is two-fold for my Mum. She is happy here, so we are! Well done!

You can see a lot of thought has gone into planning the decor of Holly Tree Lodge EMI Care Home, the hallways are well thought out capturing different themes of the 'circular' route of the lower floor, including an old street front and woodland walk area. Doors and furnishings are coloured to make
it easier for those with dementia to identify, with pictures to help residents understand what rooms are through the doors eg toilets, bedrooms etc. You can see they implement as much of new guidance and ideas as possible.
Staff, although busy, are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. You can see they genuinely care for their residents, having a family approach where everyone helps out no matter what their role.
Staff were patient when assisting residents.
Seating in lounges is comfortable and arranged in groups to promote conversation, it felt more like a hotel lobby than a care home, with residents chatting to each other and milling around.
This home has a lovely home from home feel.

In all aspects, we rate this care home and staff as good. However, among staff, a good number are excellent, especially activity workers.
Staff are kind and friendly. Residents look well-kempt and cared for. Many other care homes we contacted declined to accept our son due to his young age despite
his "young-onset Alzheimer's" Holly Tree Lodge EMI Care Home didn't think twice, and since he has moved in they have happily worked hard to meet his needs. Management and staff are approachable and always willing to give relatives time (face to face or via telephone).

My husband has been a resident at Holly Tree Lodge for nearly 3 months.
The home is in the centre of a village community and has plenty of outside space. Rooms are comfortable and very clean, not luxurious, but home and personal embellishments are encouraged. The dining room and lounges are spacious
and non-institutional with small areas off them where residents and visitors can be more private if required.
This was a very difficult step for both of us. From the outset, all staff have worked to make my husband feel at home and wanted, whilst being sympathetic to the pain of separation we are feeling. I feel he is relaxed and learning to adapt here, whilst I am sure he is safe, comfortable and receiving professional compassionate care.
Management is very effective and approachable, and the ethos of the home I have described is very much led by her.

I am very happy with the care and attention Mum receives at Holly Tree Lodge. She is so very well cared for and looked after. She has a lovely room and constant care and attention which is what she needs. The staff are pleasant and genuine carers. There's a team of doctors and nurses at hand and lots
of cups of teas, cakes, snacks and meals brought to her. Mum is happier than she has been for some time.

My sister has required care for the past 2 years, Holly Tree is the 4th care home and she has received the best care here and will remain here as long as possible. Staff are approachable and aware of her needs. Management are excellent. We have had no concerns since she has been here.
