The staff at Neville Court have always been wonderful with my father. He's always been treated with kindness and dignity and so have we as a family, which has felt very different to the home he was in previously. I feel that his needs are met at Neville Court and nothing is too much. The staff recognise
that he has a significant brain injury and how it impacts him. I really value how they care for him. Dad really enjoys the food at Neville Court. This room is exceptionally clean and most importantly, he's happy.

Thanks so much for leaving us a review. It's lovely to hear your father has his needs met and, as we agree is most important, is happy.

Lovely to see how well my dad is looked after by the staff and nurses at Neville Court. My family always feel welcome. The staff are very polite and offer us refreshments. My dad has been there a very long time due to his brain injury. We don't have a bad word to say about the place.
A massive thank
you to all the staff.

Since my partner moved to the Cannon Ward, his life has opened up again.
Over the August Bank Holiday they took him to Blackpool for the weekend and he had the time of his life!
I can't thank them enough for all the care and support they have given both me and my partner.
They keep me informed regarding
possible changes to his medication and his care in general. It's a pleasure to go and see him again, now he always has a smile on his face.

My brother has been in Neville Court care home for about 13 weeks. In my opinion, he is getting the support he requires. All the staff go above and beyond. His mental and physical health has improved, he has also gained weight. Also, not only this, my own mental health as a relative has improved massively
due to the fact that I know my brother is being cared for.

The staff at this home go out of their way to help. Very helpful with everything and always seem happy in their work. Very good with my daughter. My daughter can be hard work, with her illness, but the staff gain her trust and she is happy. I am happy knowing this and she is safe.

My partner has Huntington's Disease and has recently started to deteriorate. The management and staff are doing everything they can to make him more comfortable and help his mobility. They have got the correct teams involved to make sure they are putting the correct care plan in place. They make my
life less stressful knowing that my partner is being well cared for.

Since joining Neville Court in 2017, my daughter seems to have come to life. No more being left in bed, unwashed or bored. She is happy, content and engages readily with the wonderful caring staff. They always make time to talk to her and take part in activities. They are always cheerful and have the
essential 'sense of humour'. They are even planning to take her on holiday. I am so impressed with the place. It is a pleasure to visit.

Attended a meeting to discuss my son's funding requirements. This was done in a proficient way and everybody was in agreement of the likely outcome. My son is being cared for really well and his needs being met. Everybody had a chance to put their feelings across and communicated well. The result of
the meeting was very satisfactory and I am pleased overall that my son seems to have settled well at Neville Court.

Current Review Score: 9.5 (9.526)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.5 (9.526) out of 10 for Neville Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.6 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.926 for Neville Court is calculated as follows: ( (63 Excellents x 5) + (5 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 68 Ratings = 4.926

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 4.6 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Neville Court is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 = 3.6

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 20 registered maximum number of service users is 4, which has been reached with 6 Positive reviews. Points = 1

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
