At times, more staff are needed, to help residents with feeding at meal times and more assistance needed with toileting, instead of waiting.
Residents are kept clean and tidy.
Meals are good.

Good care received, good food and a spacious bedroom. Friendly staff.
On occasions there seem to be a lack of staff in the lounge, when residents have needed assistance and residents have had to wait, e.g. going to the toilet. It would be better to have more staff because there are more residents.

Very pleased from the day my Nana arrived from another care home, previously there was no conversation or acknowledgement from her, but within an hour of arriving here, the change in my nana was unbelievable. It was like seeing bits of the nana I knew before she got dementia.
The staff and the level
of care they provide is exceptional and they know my nana more as a person than as a resident.
It's the little things that matter... what she likes etc. and stories about conversations they have with her.

Granny generally seems happy at the care home.
She likes all the carers and says that the food is of a good standard. She has good days and bad days but the staff always try to bring her round. When visiting, everyone is welcoming and friendly.

Looks to be a good improvement at the reception. My mother likes the home as she says it is friendly and clean. If she is happy I feel confident the care is of a good standard and I know she is in good hands.

Staff at the home are very caring not just to the resident but also for the family. Would be nice to see tablecloths/covers when residents are dining instead of bare tables, however, the care of the resident is the most important. The manager will always make himself available to families and discuss
issues, which when required are addressed, this I find very reassuring.


My relative is well cared for, what more could I ask?

My stepdad wasn't thrilled at the idea of leaving his home and staying away for a while.
He was quiet at first but after some encouragement from the staff, he became more settled.
The care and commitment he received were fantastic, the care staff and management were really friendly.
We felt at ease
knowing that he was in safe hands and a safe environment.

My grandad seemed to settle well at Cedars, he was a bit worried at first but soon he was ok. I think the staff that looked after him were lovely with him and reassured us, as a family, that he would be fine. He was clean and shaved, never looked dishevelled and seemed quite happy on visits.
