Flower Park Care Home is located in Denaby Main and is convenient for shops, amenities, public transport and the A1 and M1 motorway links.

This purpose-built home provides specialized nursing and social care for frail and older people.

Accommodation at Flower Park is provided in single occupancy rooms, the majority of which are with en-suite facilities.

Flower Park is home to 40 residents and has two units. Bluebell on the ground floor is home to 16 residents requiring residential, respite and social care. Lavender unit on the first floor is home to 24 residents requiring nursing, specialist nursing, respite and palliative care.

The home is tastefully decorated and provides a variety of facilities including TV lounges, dining spaces, hairdressing salon and disabled bathroom facilities. The home has a lawned garden to the rear overlooking the local parkland beyond where residents can socialize and relax.

The home provides a varied diet of home cooked food, prepared fresh each day. Residents are consulted regularly via the home's quality of life system and resident meetings for menu planning. Specialist diets can be catered for including altered texture diets and fluids, allergies and religious requirements.

The home employs a team of nurses, care assistants and support staff that are highly trained and dedicated. The staff team is devoted to providing the highest quality of individualised care to all residents. Please see the home's staff profiles for more information.

Complementary therapies can be arranged for residents and regular visits are made by a qualified chiropodist and hair stylist.

From the time my dear friend was admitted to hospital with a stroke it sadly came the time he had to go into a home. I did have the choice of three homes but I was recommended to choose Flower Park.
From the time my dear friend arrived we were greeted by all the professional staff in all the hard work
they do. I would definitely recommend anyone who has a loved one to visit Flower Park because the work they do is absoloutley fantastic. Yes I would recommend family and friends to stay at Flower Park if needs be. I would give Flower Park 100% for all the work the staff do.

I have recently come to live at Flower Park and from the first say I arrived I felt very welcomed, relaxed and happy with the way I was greeted. Since arriving I have settled in well and think the staff are caring and excellent at their job. The home is nice and clean and well kept. The food is really
good and we have a good selection of choices on the menu.

My mother entered Flower Park in December 2015 after a long stay in hospital. From the first day, her care has been consistently excellent. The nursery and care staff are friendly and professional. They are always attentive and address any issues we may have. My mother is content, comfortable and responds
well to staff. The home in general is clean and welcoming. It is currently undergoing a refurbishment and the rooms are looking really good.

I am writing this review because the team at Flower Park are incredible. My father who suffers from advanced parkinsons and early onset dementia has never been better looked after. Everytime I visit he is clean and well fed and the staff are all aware of his conditions and seem to treat him like a relative
and you cannot ask for better than that.
On top of that they are always quick to inform us of any illness or concern they have about his condition which just shows how much they care about the people they look after.
I cannot recommend this home enough

My friend was suffering from a terminal brain tumour and Flowerpark cared greatly for her for a year of her final life, dignity, respect, compassion and a genuine friendship was bestowed upon her. I still visit the care home as the staff are so thoughtful and caring.

I help out at Flower Park Care Home when special events are taking place. I find the members of staff are hard working and very friendly. They are excellent, I enjoy exchanging conversations with the residents and their families.
The downstairs room is always clean and décor pleasing to the eye.
I
look forward to many more happy times in the future.
Because I am 79 years old I still enjoy my life and seek to encourage others by example.

My wife Sheila was in your care for over a year until her unfortunate death in March 2015. She received excellent care in your home with dignity and compassion. I used to visit her twice aday every day. Anything I asked for, help, drinks etc was provided willingly and cheerfully. Nursing staff were
very caring and efficient. Staff were very caring towards my wife and myself and would regularly cheer us both up if we were a little down. They were very good at providing entertainment and special occasion times. All in all an excellent service.

Very friendly caring home. Staff really good with relatives as well as residents, nothing too much trouble. All very caring. My brother has been in The Flower Park care home, for eight months, in which time the staff have been very good with him. He was very difficult especially at first when he was abusive. They had so much patience with him, and now he is much better and actually seems to enjoy their company and he even
laughs again. He is a different person now, and it's all thanks to the wonderful staff. I cannot thank them enough. I can say it is always a pleasure to visit the home as they try to give each person enjoyment.

I find all the carers and nurses work really well and most of the time are under staffed. They are kept clean and fed really well. My partner has been in the home for two years, and is looked after well and seems to like it. The cleaners keep the home clean.

My husband was discharged from hospital on 8/1/16 and admitted to Flower Park Nursing Home on an end of life care plan. He was made welcome from the start and continues to be made welcome. He is still struggling to be independent and has been met with a lot of patience. I have also been treated with
kindness and respect.
