Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. We really value the feedback provided by those who use our services. The home has above average staffing to provide a person-centered approach to care delivery, unfortunately, there may be times when Residents require extra support due to ill health and at these times it may appear that staff are in short supply. The home is always staffed in alliance with the dependency status of our Residents and this also enables us to provide dignified end of life care, when required. Our home also has a number of volunteers that visit on a regular basis and provide excellent one to one therapies which are not always acknowledged by other family members. The manager has an open door policy where she is available to listen and resolve any concerns.

Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. We really value the feedback provided by those who use our services. The home has above average staffing to provide a person-centred approach to care delivery, unfortunately, there may be times when Residents require extra support due to ill health and at these times it may appear that staff are in short supply. It is lovely to see how much you appreciate our team and that you have identified the dedication and support that they provide to our Residents and family members. Our home is well maintained and has a number of en suite facilities and excellent communal bathing areas where Residents enjoy quality time. Where ever possible the home adds facilities to improve the lives of our Residents however there are structural limitations and constraints.

As a Registered Nurse, Jan has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and quality of life for Residents.
Jan closely shares HC-One’s vision is aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Jan remarked:
“I am passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and the quality of life for Residents and I am so proud of my team and the kind care we provide as a whole, to all that enter our home.”
Outside of work, Jan enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who she says are, “The greatest gifts that I have ever been given in life.”
