I have worked at Treeton since 2017 as the home manager, I am a qualified nurse and Moving and Handling Trainer, along with Infection Control Link Practitioner, I trained in Sheffield and qualified in 1978, I have continued to develop myself since qualifying and have worked with both elderly care and young physically disabled, My ethos is that we work in the home of the people we care for and not that people live in a care home. My staff try to encourage the people who live here to maintain their lives and by being active and inclusive in the local community. We visit the local community centre for lunch club and other events,
I chair Rotherham Skills for Care network meeting for Registered Managers on a quarterly cycle along with linking the home with other professionals, so we are able to access services from Rotherham Metropolitan Council,. along with the Rotherham Foundation Trust
