I did a teaching degree at the University in Wales to teach Special Educational Needs (SEN). I started doing care in the community and found that care was what I wanted to do as a career. I did care in the community until 2014 in Wales and then moved home to Sheffield and decided that I’d like to work in a care home setting. I changed roles in 2018 for a new challenge as expanding my knowledge base is important to me. I love it!
I live in Sheffield; my family and I are from the local area. I have been married for nearly five years and spend my free time with my husband and those closest to me making memories.
I am passionate about singing and am often found on the Karaoke however I also like quiet nights in with a film and popcorn.

I live about 7 miles away from Broomcroft House, with my husband and our 18-year-old son. In my spare time, my husband and I enjoy travelling to different breweries and real ale festivals. I am a passionate and outgoing person who loves to make a difference to people’s lives. I come from a background of a bachelor’s degree in journalism studies and recently graduated with a Masters in Filmmaking. I moved to Sheffield from the West Midlands six years ago to study at university. I also grew up going to the Peak District, so having that nearby is fantastic. I fell in love with Sheffield, and I never went back. I am a massive extrovert who loves people and learning about them. I have two beautiful cats (Poppy and Mowser) with my partner. I enjoy walking , camping, singing, anything crafty, roller skating and most importantly, dancing and having a boogie to some disco music (my favourite)!
