Henleigh Hall Care Home can be found in the Sheffield suburb of Beauchief, in a tranquil cul-de-sac. The home is close to shops, amenities and public transport, as well as being adjacent to a park. The home provides nursing care, and offers accommodation in single occupancy rooms, all of which are with en-suite facilities.

Henleigh Hall features several lounges and a separate dining room, where residents can enjoy each other's company at meal times. Meals served are based on traditional home cooking and there are daily choices available. Special diets can be catered for.

Regular visits are made to the home by an experienced hair stylist and a qualified chiropodist. All the laundry for residents is undertaken by the home.

The home provides a varied programme of activities, organised by dedicated staff in consultation with residents and their families. Friends and family are welcome to visit at anytime and get involved in the community at the home.

My mum has been here nearly four years. This is home to Mum. She is well cared for and they understand her needs. They even do the added extra by making sure she has a fabulous hairstyle. I feel that Mum is part of a family there and the staff are always very welcoming.

Henleigh Hall care home is fantastic. My Dad has been a resident for around a year now.
He is well looked after and participates in activities and it feels like the staff always go the extra mile to make him feel at home.
He is very safe there, which he wasn't at home, and we feel he is very well
cared for.

Each time I visit, Henleigh Hall is bustling with activities. The staff all join in and it is absolutely wonderful to see. The home is always welcoming, and you always leave knowing that my friend is in safe hands.

Staff focus is, rightly, very much on the health and welfare of the residents. The level of care is very good - recognising that it is the resident's home. Really high standard of care, gets mum out of bed everyday (unless she wants a lie-in!). Frequent activities and very very friendly staff. The nursing team communicate with me often about mum's health and we work together to make a care plan that suits her. It's a wonderful location just next to the
park, couldn't ask for more.

The staff have really helped my friend to settle in after a huge life change. The facilities and activities are lovely and the care staff are so kind. nothing is too much trouble. Ultimately Mums well being is the most important factor after nearly two years in Henleigh Hall Care Home. My sister and I are very happy with how has settled and how she is treated by all the staff. She appears well cared for, clean and content and importantly safe as she had a history of falling.
She also joins in activities when encouraged. She liked the food too, always a bonus.

Coming to terms with mum going into a home has been hard. However, Henleigh Hall Care Home is a blessing. Mum is so happy here and she has come on leaps and bounds. This is all credit to the team. They involved her in activities and fun games that everyone can enjoy regardless of their capabilities.
Mum has late stage vascular dementia. she couldn't drink independently, upset and restless before coming to the home. Now she is smiling, happy, settled and improving. She can hold a cup and drink independently, hold a spoon and eat ice cream.
all sounds trivial but it is lovely to see. Henleigh Hall Care Home has been amazing. All the residents look happy, they chat to each other, for friendships with many different abilities all coming together. The staff are a credit to Henleigh Hall and the move here has made a significant improvement to Mum's life. So, so pleased we found you and Thank you so much for everything you do. Wish all homes were as good as this one.

I have been overwhelmed by the assistance that the management and staff have given to both my husband and myself during his stay at Henleigh Hall Care Home. The management are second to none and i am hoping that they will be about to accommodate my husband on a regular basis for respite until I am able

Initially, I was worried about my mum going into a care home but from the moment we stepped into the building I was blown away by the care and quality of Henleigh Hall Care Home.
My mum is so happy here and we have even seen an improvement in her condition!
We are made to feel very welcome to visit,
just as if mum was at the family home. The staff are so caring and warm. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for our mum. Thank you.

Staff here have made my nan feel very welcome and have made the effort to et to know her. The activities are excellent and I love to see that my Nan is always taking part and being brought to the activities to be involved. She is very happy here and is always smiling! I visit my friend on a regular basis and always feel welcome. The staff are so nice and friendly and always and quite a lot of them know me by name now. I never feel uncomfortable or in the way no matter how long I stay. It doesn't feel like a care home more like a good homely place to live. There is
not bad smells like other care homes I have visited. A well-run place with very good staff that care about their residents and treat them like family.

My father has been here for almost four weeks, and we have been very happy with his care. The staff are very attentive and caring. The home is very well equipped for all levels of care. There is also a good variety of activities daily, which the residents can choose to attend or not. My father has particularly

Mum did not want to move into a care home, but her safety meant it was the only option. From day one she settled into Henleigh Hall Care Home and quickly started to enjoy all the social activities, meaning she was kept active and occupied. I am so impressed with all the staff who are so caring and nothing
is too much trouble. The activity coordinator works so have and it is lovely being able to see what Mum has been doing when the photos are shared. I cannot speak highly enough of Henleigh Hall Care Home.

All the staff we came into contact with (from management to nursing staff and non-nursing staff) were extremely helpful and kind to me and my father. Nothing was too much for them and fulfilled all our requests and needs (including another cuppa). From the moment he arrived to the moment he passed away

Kelly

Kelly Hodgson

Job Title: Home Manager

Joined: 2012

Kelly Hodgson has been dedicated to healthcare since leaving school, gaining experience across care homes, hospitals, and community settings. She studied at Sheffield Hallam University, earning an Advanced Diploma in Nursing Studies (adult nursing). Kelly joined Henleigh Hall in 2012 as a registered nurse, progressed to the role of unit sister, and became Deputy Manager in 2023 before stepping into the Home Manager role later that year.


Outside of work, Kelly loves spending time outdoors, especially on sunny days. She enjoys walking her two dogs, camping, and visiting the seaside. Her greatest achievement outside of work is having her children.


Kelly emphasises that Henleigh Hall is more than just a care home; it’s a family. She finds joy in the variety each day brings and encourages those considering a career in care to understand that while the work can be challenging, it is incredibly rewarding.
