Henleigh Hall Care Home can be found in the Sheffield suburb of Beauchief, in a tranquil cul-de-sac. The home is close to shops, amenities and public transport, as well as being adjacent to a park. The home provides nursing care, and offers accommodation in single occupancy rooms, all of which are with en-suite facilities.

Henleigh Hall features several lounges and a separate dining room, where residents can enjoy each other's company at meal times. Meals served are based on traditional home cooking and there are daily choices available. Special diets can be catered for.

Regular visits are made to the home by an experienced hair stylist and a qualified chiropodist. All the laundry for residents is undertaken by the home.

The home provides a varied programme of activities, organised by dedicated staff in consultation with residents and their families. Friends and family are welcome to visit at anytime and get involved in the community at the home.

Once again, my heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Henleigh Hall. A super Christmas celebrations for my brother and everyone here. I have never known a team, work so hard for the good of their clients as I have worked in healthcare for many years.

My mother has resided at Henleigh Hall for five years now, having a life-threatening stroke. Living some distance from the home, the care team and administrative staff at Henleigh Hall have maintained a high standard of support and provision of care with my mother's needs and dignity placed at the centre
of all decisions. As a family, we feel we are working in partnership with Henleigh Hall to give our Mother the care she needs.

Mum went to Henleigh Hall in June 2017 and we were worried that she would not adjust to the move. Our fears were unfounded as everything possible was done to help her fit in. All the staff were friendly, approachable and helped mum to become more outgoing. The care staff and nursing staff were excellent
and she became part of their family until she passed away in October this year. We are extremely grateful that she was cared for so well in her last years.

From our initial enquiry with the manager, through to the day to day involvement with the nurses and carers, we have witnessed nothing other than a professional caring attitude. My dad's complex needs have been met, and medical in particular has been outstanding.

Warm welcome on admittance to home. All staff very friendly from the manager to the caretaker. Food looks excellent, and the dining room is very nice. Very good range of activities and residents are encouraged to attend and socialise. Room is comfortable, clean and warm and we are very happy so far
- six weeks since start of residence.

My dad was in Henleigh Hall from January to September 2019 and from the first day of his stay to the day he passed away, he was treated with respect and dignity. All the staff were devoted carers and loving, they looked after his every need. I can't praise Henleigh enough for looking after our dad the
way they did. The home exceeded all our expectations and made it easy for us.

Was troubled at the thought of coming here but I have found peace and great care and kindness here.

The staff are very caring and professional and willing to listen to any concerns re: our mother.


I feel the decor is very dated but understand that ie decorating is difficult without disturbing the residents.

My husband is a very comfortable at Henleigh Hall. I know he is well looked after and is safe. All the staff are really lovely. They are very caring and efficient. I don't think people appreciate enough just how hard they work. The home is very clean and has good facilities. I am glad he is in there
rather than somewhere more clinical.

My mother was a resident of Henleigh Hall Care Home for around 9 years up until her death in 2017. My mum had very challenging behaviour and could be very difficult at times. I cannot praise the staff enough for their professionalism, support and continuous care they gave my mother. Even when times
were hard they showed my mum so much respect, and genuinely cared for her and maintained her dignity throughout. My mum received palliative care in her final days at Henleigh and the staff were amazing, I couldn't have got through it without them. The staff are absolutely brilliant, the rooms are spacious and the home is just like one big family who will help you as well as the resident.

Mum came for respite last year and due to changes in family circumstances, she is still here.

My mum is well cared for in a very friendly environment. The laundry system works well, nursing and care staff are excellent. Mum seems happy at Henleigh Hall - never an easy move to a care home...
The home is warm and there are two dining rooms. Breakfast in the room works well with lunch and tea
in the dining rooms.

Both my parents lived at Henleigh Hall and they were looked after so well. All the staff were friendly and polite and caring as well as professional. There was always a lovely atmosphere in the home and whenever I visited I was always made welcome. I was very happy entrusting the care of my parents

I have been very impressed by the attitude and commitment of the staff, a number of whom have been at Henleigh Hall since it opened. The management team is accessible and involved, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Relatives are involved in care planning. I'm especially impressed by the range
of activities on offer and the way residents are included in the day-to-day life of the home. As a relative, I feel welcomed, and my mother is treated with dignity, respect and understanding.

Kelly

Kelly Hodgson

Job Title: Home Manager

Joined: 2012

Kelly Hodgson has been dedicated to healthcare since leaving school, gaining experience across care homes, hospitals, and community settings. She studied at Sheffield Hallam University, earning an Advanced Diploma in Nursing Studies (adult nursing). Kelly joined Henleigh Hall in 2012 as a registered nurse, progressed to the role of unit sister, and became Deputy Manager in 2023 before stepping into the Home Manager role later that year.


Outside of work, Kelly loves spending time outdoors, especially on sunny days. She enjoys walking her two dogs, camping, and visiting the seaside. Her greatest achievement outside of work is having her children.


Kelly emphasises that Henleigh Hall is more than just a care home; it’s a family. She finds joy in the variety each day brings and encourages those considering a career in care to understand that while the work can be challenging, it is incredibly rewarding.
