Mum's final years in Owlett Hall were made comfortable, and Mum was happy. We were initially not impressed when Mum moved into Owlett Hall some years ago; the decor was poor, and some issues with tidiness. However, we see improvement after improvement. The staff, as always, were hardworking, kind and
compassionate. We think Mum thrived and assured us she was well looked after and spoke highly of the staff who looked after her; we saw for ourselves how genuinely dedicated the staff were. We were kept up to speed on Mum's health and her inevitable deterioration. We thank everyone involved in managing Mum's last days/hours ensuring she passed away peacefully and pain-free. God Bless you all, and thank you!

My aunt was in Owlett Hall for 18 months and was bedbound. The current staff and management could not have been more cairn, compassionate and considerate to her and our relatives. Everyone, from cleaners to management, treated her with respect. She died this week, and they treated her like she was one
of their own relatives, for which we are truly grateful.

This home is very good. The staff are cheerful and very helpful. They are so kind to my brother-in-law, and when I have heard them speaking to other residents, including those with dementia who are noisy, they deal with it with patience and efficiency! Owlett Hall is kept clean, and though not "modern
and luxurious", its cleanliness is excellent. My brother-in-law does not really speak and is immobile, so I cannot comment on activities etc.

My mother came into Owlette Hall for 2 weeks respite care. I had every trust in the home due to supportive phone calls about my mothers care needs. Which were complex prior to her stay. My mother found all the staff to be very kind, caring and helpful. Her room was very pleasing with modern furniture.
The manager was professional, approachable and an excellent respected manager.

My mum was admitted to Owlett Hall 8th September 2020, she was a little nervous at first but soon settled in once her personal items were installed. Carers were amazing she love you all, and from what we saw the carers loved her too. Mum needed 24-hour care and the nursing staff were great with Mum,
thank you to all of you. Mum passed away this month, the deputy manager gave up her Sunday to support and help us at this very sad time. A very big thank you you were professional and sympathetic to our needs all day. Again a big thank you to all who interacted with Mum, you all work extremely hard all the time.

My mum has been at Owlett Hall for twelve months now and has settled in better than anyone could have expected. We didn’t know how she would react living with strangers as she doesn’t always socialise well with others. We worried for nothing. The staff have been nothing but amazing with her. They respect
her need to be left alone and recognise times when this is needed and when to stop and chat. They know not to disturb her until after 11 unless they want a hairbrush thrown at their head! She complains about the food but that’s just her being fussy. What we have seen is well presented and does taste nice. She is supported to be as independent as she can which she does appreciate. Yes, there are times when there are staffing shortages but I work in social care and understand this better than anyone. It’s everywhere. But even this doesn’t really impact the care. It gets given and all of the staff no matter where they work pull together as one team. The home is overall clean.

All the staff and carers are very dedicated to the residents in their care. My husband is on Oak floor
which is the high dependency ward. The carers are hardworking and kind. His Alzheimers and vascular dementia is progressing and needs help now with washing and dressing. It is done with gentleness
and dignity and I can not thank his carer who does this enough. I know he will not only have my husband to wash and dress but also other duties to do. My husband is happy at Owlett Hall and loves his meals there, he often gets second helpings especially the puddings.
I am very pleased with his care at Owlett Hall. It is hard having to put a loved one into a care home,
but I also know the right decision was taken when I did, so a big thank you to all the wonderful
staff there. You're stars.

I highly recommend Owlett Hall to anyone looking for care for someone who needs it.
Staff are kind, caring and keep me updated as I cannot visit. I get a regular video call, and it’s lovely to see her looking so happy. It could do with a bit of painting here and there, and activities could be better.
But overall, the carers do a wonderful job.

The first day we came to the home we felt it was clean, airy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The lady that we pout into the home was impressed and felt at ease when I told her where she was and why. The staff treated her well and with respect. If there were any concerns, the staff and
manager were very helpful to resolve issues.
