The home provides both nursing and residential care. The relaxed homely atmosphere enables residents the enjoy Bingley Wingfield in their individual way. Most of the staff, their families and the staff are from Bingley.

It is located in a very pleasant residential area which is relatively central to Bingley. The home is a beautiful Victorian house which was extended about 15 years ago to provide additional bedrooms. The old part of the building retains many of its original features and the home is set in pleasant gardens.

The home has 40 bedrooms many of which have en-suites and offer great views over the Aire Valley.

My mother passed away on 28th November, just short of her 100th birthday, after being admitted to Bingley Wingfield Care Home from Airedale Hospital in January of this year with a life expectancy of up to 6 weeks. Through her own strong will and the excellent care she received from the home, my mother's
life lasted probably eight months or so longer than expected. Despite the additional pressures that Covid-19 produced, the staff of nurses and carers provided my mother with efficient and also compassionate care in what were very difficult and extenuating circumstances whereby she regarded them all as a family which was a testament to their selfless support. Both myself and my family are grateful for the care and attention she received at a time when our licence to visit was limited, due to the pandemic present throughout most of the time of her containment at the home.

I would like to promote Wingfield Nursing home to anyone who needs secure accommodation for their loved one in the difficult times of Alzheimer's disease and Dementia. My Father was admitted two years ago when we were finally unable to assist with his requirements. The Nursing home is spotlessly clean,
the staff I could not fault - friendly and considerate, catering to all the needs possible. The nurses in particular, were at their very best, phoning me when necessary and keeping me up to date on my late father's progress. Even due to the times of the Covid19 virus, I was updated on my fathers care. Towards the end of his life, I was able to visit, Covid19 virus rules applying and dignity was allowed with care and attention at all times. I would not hesitate to recommend Wingfield Nursing home to anyone.

Dad stayed at Wingfield, Bingley for a brief spell following a lengthy period in hospital in the summer of 2015. We were highly impressed and indeed delighted by the high level of care and professionalism provided by all staff at Wingfield to Dad at the end of his life. A very big thank you to Wingfield

Because of circumstances my uncle joined the Wingfield family without either of us visiting. From the first day I have been delighted with the home. My first impression hurrah there is no urine smell (common in many residential homes) Meals can be taken at dining table or at an individual table or in
their own room. This gives choice. As far as possible residents are not institutionalised, they are allowed to be individuals, stay in own room or sit in communal lounges. Staff engage with patients. As my uncle has said many times "I'm lucky to be here"

My mum never wanted to go into a home but she loves it at Wingfield. The staff are very friendly and caring. There is continuity of staff which is very helpful. There are activities in an afternoon. My mum loves it and never wants to leave this is her home.

My mother who has dementia came for two weeks respite care for me and my father to charge our batteries. We found the home clean, very friendly and the staff excellent. We have no hesitation in recommending the home to anyone.
