Thank you for your feedback which is always welcome as we strive to maintain high standards throughout. We would have welcomed the opportunity to meet with you to discuss and resolve any potential issues but unfortunately as you declined the invitations we haven't been able to do so. We are sorry that your stepfather lost or misplaced his hearing aids and that they could not be located after a full search. The explanation for moving your stepfather to another Care Home was so that he could be closer to his wife. Since he has moved we were saddened to learn that he had a fall and a fracture whilst in the new home and his Social Worker contacted us to see if we could take him back to live with us at Longwood which we couldn't accommodate as we had no vacancies. We would like to point out that your stepfather's mobility improved during his stay with us and he no longer required the 1 to 1 care that was in place before he came. We are very confident in the standard of care we provide.
