A converted private house situated in Edgerton, Cleveland House is a home that boasts both history and charm. With its elegant fireplaces and ornate ceilings, the home provides a comfortable and peaceful place to relax. Mum moved here at the end of December 2022 and found the initial days very difficult. The staff were very caring and patient and after tests, we found out it was a water infection. I am very pleased with the care and so is my mum.

Excellent care home, staff lovely, and very helpful and the management is very helpful. My mum has settled really well. My mum's last care home closed down. Mum is always clean and tidy.

Mum first came to Cleveland House Care Home in 2018 for respite and has continued to come regularly and in September came to spend her last few weeks. Mum loved it here. She always classed it as her second home.
Can't thank the staff enough for Mum's care and I was always welcomed with a cup of tea.

My first day in Cleveland House Care Home. I enjoyed my lunch - very tasty, in a pleasant dining room. Then I joined residents in another room where staff were hosting a Halloween party. They had obviously gone to a lot of trouble into trimming up the room with numerous Halloween-related decorations
with things provided from out of the home, i.e. crackers and blow-up spooky things. They did a quiz and were very upbeat and jolly, involving residents in activities. Well done to all the staff for all your hard work.

I find this care home extremely frustrating from when I arrive and can't get in. Not many staff look to be on duty and difficult to get feedback. My dad's needs are complex and don't see anyone checking him whilst I'm there. Just a poor service for an extremely expensive care home.

All staff were extremely helpful when I came to visit my friend. The girls at the door even assisted with my test. Very clean and tidy. Thank you for looking after my friend so well.

The care home is very nice and clean. All staff are nice and lovely, and they take care to talk to patients and everyone who comes. And they look and seem to care, you need to be able to trust and know your loved ones are looked after properly because you worry about them.

Our mum has been in Cleveland House for two and a half years now. Well into her nineties, she has received excellent care throughout. The last year has been very hard for her with there being few activities due to Covid to keep her occupied and the limited indoor visits of our family and friends. Hopefully,
when the weather improves we can make more use of the lovely gardens to take her in.

My personal experience, I was very ill when coming into the care home. Due to the high standard of care and interaction I am now in a much better place. The food is of a good standard and I always get asked to join in activities.

Staff are fantastic, very helpful and attentive. Mother is very happy and settled in. We are very appreciative of all the support provided to Mum. Attention to detail, health safety and wellbeing are all excellent.

My father moved here just over a year ago and settled in instantly. Because of COVID, I haven't been into the home since my father arrived, but he is very happy here and the staff do their best at all times to look after him during this difficult year. From my experience the staff are excellent and
the care is excellent.

My mum moved into Cleveland House in September 2020, following an illness which left her unable to do anything for herself and unable to talk. I was devastated that I could no longer look after her, but luckily there was a vacancy for her at Cleveland House. From the outset, the staff made Mum very
welcome. The atmosphere there is so relaxed and homely, with appetising smells coming from the kitchen! The staff are so kind, always seem cheerful, and nothing is too much trouble. It seems clear that it is a very happy and well-run team. There always seems to be something interesting happening, and the staff go to great lengths to involve my mum, despite her disabilities, and even during the necessary periods of isolation. It's obvious that Mum loves the staff, and it's clear they think the world of her. She is made to feel valued and respected. I will be eternally grateful to everyone, for looking after her so well when I can no longer do so - they truly understand the meaning of caring!
