I would like to offer my sincere condolences on the passing of your aunt and offer my apologies at the lack of communication and assistance on such an important day. We have discussed this with the staff member who is deeply upset by her decision to not stay with your aunt. The codes for the gates are available to staff and the one that had been secured was not a fire escape. I am sorry that this caused your further distress. I hope that by speaking with me you are reassured lessons have been learned.

Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. We are very sorry you have experienced concerns with our laundry system. We have recently introduced a new tagging system to help prevent items from going missing. Unfortunately, the machines do wash at a high temperature for infection control. I would ask that any delicate items are given to staff to wash in a different manner to prevent these issues from occurring.

As a Registered Nurse, Danielle has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.
Danielle chose to become Home Manager at Colton Lodges as she closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Danielle remarked:
“Making a difference to people’s lives, it’s a pleasure to see our Resident’s living happy and fulfilled lives.”
Outside of work, Danielle is a devoted wife and mother to two boys who enjoys travelling to America, she hopes to visit all 52 states in her lifetime. In her spare time, she is a big supporter of football, rugby, American football and ice hockey.
