Due to a decline in our dad’s health, it was necessary for him to be placed at Attlee Care Home. We found the care he received in his final weeks was excellent and have nothing but praise for the staff. We found that their caring attitude was a true reflection of their work. Following our dad’s passing
they dealt with us with both compassion and care.

The staff at Attlee Court are friendly and caring towards the residents. There are various/regular activities to keep the residents occupied. It is obvious by the atmosphere that they are happy. The rooms are very clean as well as the corridors and communal areas. I feel we made a good choice when choosing
a care home for our mum.

The rooms are very basic, lacking any personality of the resident, bedding and curtains should be chosen to personally please the resident. I've never seen anyone come into the room to check on Mum's health or just see if she needed anything. Twice i've been in two weeks to find Mum's bathroom light
switch pull not working. Every time we see Mum she is depressed and in pain. She doesn't seem to be encouraged to join in any activities. There is only certain staff that seem to show any concern and things are going missing.

My Dad came to Attlee Court on respite at the end of November 2018 and he is now a resident, we do call regular to the care home and both the day staff and night staff are fantastic, they show care and compassion to the residents and they make us feel very welcome too, getting involved with making
drinks and tiding up as they are so busy attending to all the residents needs.
Dad enjoys his cakes, buns and sweets so it is only right we share his goodies with all the other residents as it is very much like a family, we talk with all the residents and help to reassure them as they all have different challenges at different times. We enjoy our visits to Attlee court and can see how professional the carers are, especially on the EMI Floor and would have no hesitation in recommending this care home to others.

My mum spent 7 years at Attlee before she passed away February 2017. I could not have chosen a better place for mum to live. The staff not only delivered excellent care, they also supported me during difficult times.
I was comforted knowing that my mum was in safe hands.

My dad only spent three weeks in Attlee Court, however, the care he received was second to none. He had been in and out of a hospice three times last year and then to Attlee Court where he spent his last three weeks. Staff catered for his every need as he was bed bound and unable to do much himself.
We couldn't have wished for a better place we are eternally grateful to all staff. Would instantly recommend to anyone needing care. Thank you x

Sadly my mother is now eternally slumbering in god's house as of 2 December 2016. Where she passed over peacefully in the devoted care of staff at Attlee Court Home. She died with dignity surrounded by caring and loving carers. Everything was just how she would have wished it. They give 110% above
and beyond the call of duty. It is truly a pleasure to write this.

Atlee is an excellent example of how elderly relatives should be cared for. My mother is 91 years old and has been there since March 2012 when she joined my father. They had nine months together before he passed away. This time for them was made very good by the staff and they supported my mother when
she was then on her own. The care and attention given by all the staff to my mother is second to none, they are all hard working, respectful, professional and treat all the residents as individuals with care and dignity to ensure their needs are met. The home is clean and airy, very homely with a lovely atmosphere. The food is extremely good. There are lots of activities and entertainment and the staff give up their time to make them all enjoyable. My mother is very happy and would not like to be anywhere else.

IN 17th December 2015, I and my mother attended a Christmas party. The food was brilliant and the staff put in 110% into making it a marvellous night. Photo's were taken, songs sung, hats, balloons, a singer to entertain. My heart soared watching my mother and her friends singing, clapping and tapping
their feet to the music. Every effort was made to include everyone. Christmas day I rang and my mum was put on the phone so I could sing to her. Same New Years day, there were carols and laughter in the background. I appreciated the men and women carers giving up their Christmas for my mother. They are all troopers.
