We visit my sister every week, she is always clean, dry and very happy. The staff are very friendly, very helpful and are always there to answer any questions. My sister is a very quiet person, but has come out of her shell. Since coming here, we never worry about her when we leave to go home. We would
recommend this nursing home to anyone who asks.

Priory gardens - well led, wonderful team, always smiling, always happy and not a big turn over of staff, which speaks volumes to me - happy staff stay where they are well looked after! Dad entered Priory Gardens in May 2024. To our surprise, he settled very quickly. He enjoyed the company and sitting by the fish tank.
I am very happy with the care he received and the support his family was given.

This is an excellent care home for my dad, as most families struggle to put a family member in care, this care home has given us all the support we needed to settle my dad into this environment. All staff and carers have been amazing with him. From watching music tributes and loving it and taking him
back to his younger days when he loved to dance. At 83 he got to dance again which is amazing to see. It's a lovely care home.

My mother was put on respite in May 2024 and we can't believe the difference in her, she's more chatty and always smiling when we visit. All the staff including managers go the extra mile for her and are a credit to your company. They even organised a birthday cake and banner for her 88th birthday.

My mother is a new resident at Priory Gardens and we visited today as her elder sister, also a resident, is celebrating her 90th birthday. The staff had made an excellent job of decorating the lounge for my Aunt, with lots of seating available and a small buffet including soft drinks, tea and coffee
were provided. All family present really enjoyed the afternoon. Thanks to all the great staff at Priory Gardens for putting this together.

Our father had been in the care home for two and a half years and was always treated with dignity and respect. As his condition progressed, it became much more difficult for the staff to care for him, but they were wonderful with him right to the very end of his life. We cannot praise the staff enough
for the care and compassion they showed our father and us, as a family, from cleaners, cooks, nurses, carers and administrators and managers, they all do their jobs professionally and with care.

Really would like it to improve on communication. Did have a few issues with nails not being clipped. Sometimes under staffed, that needs to improve.

“Kindness to me, means being generous, helpful and caring at all times.”


As a Registered Nurse, Allison has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Having worked at Priory Gardens for over a year, Allison now closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Priory Gardens.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Allison remarked:


“I get huge satisfaction out of making the Residents lives at Priory more fulfilling and bringing a smile to their faces.”


Outside of work, Allison enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two new grandchildren, and enjoys reading a good book.
