From the first contact to the current time everything has gone brilliantly well. Dad has settled quickly and this, in no small measure, is down to management and staff treating him and the family with great professionalism. Nothing seems to be too much trouble - they are all very helpful and considerate.

My first impressions were good on looking for a home. My mother went there for end of life care. We were made very welcome and the staff were all very 'tactful' and sympathetic to my difficult situation. They gave my mum super, regular nursing care, but I felt that they were looking after me as well.

I just wanted to say what a pleasure it is to visit here. The staff are all pleasant, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The home has a lovely calm and homely atmosphere. The food looks very nice and the person I visit certainly enjoys it. A chocolate eclair has just been eaten with relish. The person
I visit seems quite content and care needs appear to be well met. Keep up the good work.

The service is very good and they know the needs of my father and the care they give is outstanding. I will recommend this home to anyone who wants to put any of their relatives here. The staff are wonderful and very helpful.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Amy has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and quality of life for Residents.


Having worked in the care sector for over 14 years, Amy closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Amy remarked:


“Listening to and learning from the stories of people from all walks of life, I am reminded every day of the importance of not taking anything in life for granted.”


Outside of work, Amy is a proud mother of two and likes to spend her spare time winding down with a good book, listening to live music, visiting different countries and making memories with her friends and family.
