What can I say? I cannot thank the staff enough, they have looked after my mother as though she was theirs. Their care and compassion for all my family has been heartwarming and thoroughly appreciated. Nothing has ever been too much trouble. They have constantly gone beyond the call of duty time after
time. Thank you all so much for making an unbearable time bearable.

Completely overwhelmed by the care and support given to my father in his final few weeks. To grasp my dad's situation and be able to build a caring relationship with him was lovely to see by all staff. All family and friends treated with dignity and care where appropriate and making my dad feel included,
even down to making his drinks hot enough.

We were fortunate to know friends who had a relative stay here and knew how well he had been looked after. Although we have to travel 28 miles to get to Warde Aldam, it is worth it. We think it is a wonderful care home, with wonderful staff. A Christian run home creating a heaven on earth.

My wife receives good care and is always clean when I visit. She is more responsive at Warde Aldam than her previous care home. I put this down to the care and friendliness of the staff.
This is by no way a complaint, but we were confused as to why all the staff have been moved around.

I attend my wife nearly every day so I feel I get a good overview of the care and treatment given. I have always been very satisfied with the care and attention my wife receives. Even though the staff have to work hard and often under pressure, they still give excellent care and attention to all residents.

The staff was professional and delivered 1st class care to my father, ensuring his needs were met and were person-centred. They supported the family throughout this difficult time and was on hand throughout his stay. Sadly he died when in their care but they supported the family to ensure we all had
an opportunity to say our goodbyes, in an atmosphere that helped us to celebrate his life. He died with dignity.

The staff at Warde Aldam looked after my mum for three years, gradually doing more and more as her condition deteriorated.
She would laugh and joke with the carers who became her new family.
She was comfortable, very well cared for and, most importantly, content in her new home.
I have found the
staff to be helpful, caring and supportive to me during a period which was hard - watching your loved one deteriorate.

My aunt has been in Warde Aldam for almost 4 years. In all that time she has been well looked after by friendly caring people. She is warm, well fed, has only to look out of her door to see people, which she couldn't have done in her own home. Her every need is catered for. She is kept clean and she

My father was admitted into Warde Aldam for end of life care from the hospital. He was there just a short period of just 15 days but during that time we found the staff and nurses in the home to be extremely supportive, not just too dad but to us all, knowing how difficult it was during the time and
especially in the last few days. All of the team were very caring and couldn't do enough for dad. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My grandad spent his last days at Walde Aldam and all I can say is that the staff and management were fantastic, they never complained and was so helpful and understanding. Especially as we are a large family, we had open visiting 24 hours a day and never once was made to feel in the way, all the staff

Dad has been receiving excellent care over the last twelve months in Warde Aldam. Although his condition has caused a deterioration in his health over this period, the staff have been amazing and adjusted the level of care to meet his changing needs. All the staff are kind, caring, helpful, pleasant
and treat him with the dignity and respect he deserves. This extends to the rest of his family, towards whom they have been friendly and welcoming at all times.
Any concerns we have had about Dad have been quickly dealt with by the management who are always very approachable and compassionate. As a family we are all very grateful for the peace of mind this has given us at a very difficult time, knowing that Dad is in very safe hands. Activities are laid on at regular intervals, such as karaoke, and dancing. There is an excellent garden and outdoor provision for residents and their families to use. The home is clean and well maintained. The food is home cooked and plentiful.

The whole of the team at the home have consistently demonstrated the utmost care, respect, dignity and love for my Mum who, sadly, passed away having spent the last 5 months in the home. The room was large, bright, cheerful and well appointed, whilst cleanliness was great. Food was plentiful and nutritional
and met my Mum's specific needs, whilst drinks were always being brought to her. But of most importance was the care and my Mum was checked every hour to ensure her well-being and safety, both day and night.

My mother has been staying here seven years and the care she has received has been excellent. On the 21st April I received a call to say my mother had suffered a stroke and by the quick action of the staff an ambulance was called and my mother was admitted to hospital in time for the medication to be
able to be administered to reduce the effects of the stroke. Within a few hours, she responded well to the treatment.
The consultant at the hospital said he couldn't praise the staff at Warde Aldam enough for getting my mother to a hospital so quickly and recognising she had a stroke.
Without their prompt response, my mother would not have recovered so quickly.
My mother returned to Warde Aldam on Tuesday 24th April and wept for joy at seeing the staff again.
She is now happy to be home again.
