All bedrooms are accessible by wheelchair with the majority on the ground floor.

At Foresters Lodge they offer hospital beds, air mattresses, pressure cushions along with other aids to make your stay more comfortable.

They encourage all residents to remain active and to become involved in what is going on in the home and to take part in activities and events.

Their approach to residential care focuses on ensuring that a wide range of activities and social events are regularly organised, such as wine and cheese parties, pub lunches in the Bridlington area, film nights, card and board games, slide shows and many more, which are designed to reflect the wishes and interests of customers and help them maintain close bonds with their local community.

My wife did not want to end her life in a care home, but her health had deteriorated to such an extent that she needed full time nursing care, which was simply not possible at home. She was in the home for just over a month and she received, at all times, the best care possible. I told the staff that
I would score them 11 out of 10 because they went far beyond the necessary. They showed her great care and love. She had become very frightened of being washed, or turned, but the care she received makes me weep even now. It was amazing and I am so grateful. I would still have liked her to die at home, but this was every bit as good, and nothing seemed to ever be too much. So I am really grateful and I am already recommending the home to others!

My mum was recently moved to Forresters after being evicted from another Bridlington care home, due to them not being able to look after her because she has late-stage dementia. We wish we'd put her in Forresters from the beginning of her residential care. Forresters are now giving her medication properly
and the correct medication, which as now is the case we are seeing a great improvement in the way mum is. She seems a lot calmer and happier in our eyes. She is getting fed very well and is eating plates of food rather than small bowls in the previous home. The carers, nurses and cleaners are doing a great job. We know our mum won't get any better, but now know she is getting the correct care that she needs and deserves. As a family, we now don't feel stressed anymore and can relax knowing she is in safe hands. Thanks to everyone

We do not pay full price as the local authority pays towards it as Mum is on end of life. Her room is very shabby and has not been touched for 5 years. A new door was installed but the frame has not been painted. The carers are excellent and we are satisfied with all they do for her. The activities
lady does a great job.

The staff are all lovely my mother is well cared for. The premises feeling tired and my mother's room could benefit from a decoration. The door to her room has been replaced in 2023 and has still not been painted, remaining in a rough wood state. The furniture is looking tatty.

Although no one wants a parent to go in for full-time care we have been as a family, very satisfied with the care our mother has received at the home. My experience here has been totally positive. The care my mum received especially recently through her decline in health has been amazing. The time, effort and commitment from staff has been exemplary, including immediate action for her health and safety and providing interaction and physical aid where
