Jayne Boothby is the proud Home Manager of St Mary’s Nursing Home.
After Caring for her Grandfather Jayne decided that this was the career for her and has stayed for over 30yrs.
Starting her career in nursing, Jayne was later been Clinical Nurse Manager at a Hull Nursing Home and is vastly experienced in operating homes similar to St Mary’s.
This experience enables Jayne to have good working relationships with healthcare professionals in the area. An important fact when dealing with new residents is that these relationships ensure a frictionless move from home or hospital into St Mary’s Nursing Home.
Jayne is a natural caregiver, this is apparent when you first walk into St Mary’s Nursing Home. This friendliness is reflected in the care team, all of whom are warm and helpful, easing the transition into a care setting for all new residents.
Outside of work Jayne is a keen Angler and supports the “Hull Fishing Heritage Centre “of which husband Jerry is chairman.
The Centre provides people with information, artefacts, and resources to help them understand the role of fishing in Hull’s heritage and identity.
