Brooklands Care Home is set in a lovely residential area just outside Grimsby. It is a purpose-built care home offering residential and nursing care to older people and people living with dementia. It also provides care to people on End of Life Care and care for young people with physical disabilities, whether for long or short term care.

Brooklands Care Home is a warm, friendly home that prides itself on its excellent reputation for providing exceptional care and support to its residents, particularly for those needing end of life care.

The home is set over 2 floors and has some lovely areas for residents to socialise with family and friends. There is also a coffee shop, a hairdressing salon and treatment room and a lovely, sunny garden room overlooking the beautiful enclosed garden where residents also love to spend time.

The home also prides itself on providing fresh home cooked meals from the dedicated chefs and urges everyone to eat, celebrate and plan special occasions together in a homely setting.

Brooklands Care Home is clean, bright and welcoming. The staff are always cheerful and work hard at meeting the needs of residents. Our relative is well cared for and content with her surroundings. We have participated in several fundraising events and are somewhat disappointed that money raised is
not all gone to the resident's fund. Apparently, some has to be given to HC One charity fund. This impacts the budget for activities which seems to be very mean, hopefully, this can be rectified.

The manager and team of Brooklands take their jobs to the next level in the care, compassion and support shown to residents and their families.
My mum is determined to stay at home but at times this is physically impossible and periods of respite and rehabilitation are crucial to her current needs.

My Sister was a resident at Brooklands for 6 1/2 years. During that time she was cared for wonderfully in all departments. The staff were efficient, caring, helpful and most of all loving. I'm extremely grateful to everyone past and present. They became as family to my Sister and myself. Thank you all.

I found all staff to be friendly and helpful.
Food was well presented, tasty and plentiful, all amenities easy to use and get to.

My wife is immobile and limited to her bed. Unable to take part in activities, staff are extremely understanding and considerate, nothing is too much trouble for them. Always giving immediate attention to any requests made.
Manageress very friendly and helpful and efficient.
My wife is dairy free
food and drinks so careful consideration is given to this condition by kitchen staff and all involved.

My mother came to Brooklands for end of life care, 18 months and my mum has improved and is doing really well. This is down to the management and care staff for their dedication to their role and for truly caring.
I would highly recommend Brooklands for anyone looking for the best possible care in

Everyone at Brooklands are so friendly and helpful not only to residents but also to their families.
The staff are so dedicated, when we had all that bad weather and snow and ice not one member of staff called in sick, everyone made the effort to get themselves into work which says it all.

Living 100 miles away from Grimsby and my Aunt in Brooklands has been a difficult time for the 8 months she was resident there. However, all the staff have been incredibly kind and caring, keeping me informed constantly of every health occurrence and progress in my Aunt's life. She was loved, cared
for and respected and as happy as she could be with all these lovely people. Sadly her continued fight for life ended early this month. Again it was dealt with, with dignity and competence. These people are the finest you can hope for.

The staff are friendly, mostly approachable and seem to genuinely care for residents. They appear to have an excess of paperwork to complete which is time-consuming. For the main part, Mum felt safe which was very important to us. The place was extremely clean with no smells (which I half expected)
lots of entertainment providing stimulation. Thank you for a good experience of care homes. We wouldn't hesitate to return if needed.

My partner was diagnosed with PSP a very progressive form of Parkinson's. I tried several homes before settling on Brooklands. The manageress and most of the staff were very supportive at my very stressful time. The manageress made sure all mine and my partner's concerns were priority, could not fault
her, or her staff. Unfortunately, my partner was moved to Leicester.

On entry warm welcome from any member of staff working at the time. Clean fresh smell. Bright lovely Xmas decorations, staff helpful and respond quickly to demands for help with residents needs in help with feeding and toilet. Rooms very clean with attention to individuals needs.

Brooklands is a home where the ethos is one of care and love for all it's residents, by all its staff. The nursing care given to my husband during his final weeks of his life was of loving kindness at all times, not only to him, but to all the family.

My mother and father are in Brooklands Care Home and all the staff are so caring, loving and helpful. It's a comfort knowing my parents are treated so well at this last stage of their lives. They are well fed, kept very clean and well entertained. The home seems to be a very happy place.

The standard of the home is excellent, as is the ethos of the home - one of caring, always caring with the dignity of the patient uppermost.
The friendliness of the permanent staff is excellent.

Very good caring all round, clean. My brother is in the nursing department of the care home. He was given six hours to live six weeks ago in hospital, after being HDU he was transferred to the care home. All staff interact with him, despite needing palliative care, he can now feed himself and is getting
out of bed. My only criticism, he could have small activities to stimulate him.

My mum spent the last few weeks of her life in Brooklands Care Home receiving end of life care for cancer. I can't praise the staff highly enough and the environment is exceptionally welcoming and kept meticulously clean. My mum was treated with utmost dignity and visiting family and friends were always

Sara is Brooklands Care Home Manager. Sara has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Sara is ultimately responsible for the effective and professional running of the care home but will allocate time to discuss any aspect of our Resident's care or any problems they may be experiencing. She is keen to work closely and in partnership with our Residents, their relatives and significant others to benefit the Residents in her care. Sara is a dynamic team leader and has an ongoing interest in professional development and career progression.
