The beautifully prestigious home is situated within six acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in the village of Scorton.

The Site has a long-standing history in health and social care dating back 150 years.

Overlooking the stunning local countryside, Scorton Care Village has retained many of its original features and richness to create a charismatic, charming and welcoming atmosphere.

My wife has been a resident at Elizabeth House for over two years and the care shown by the staff is truly wonderful. My wife's dementia is clearly getting worse and her needs are continually changing but the staff are able to manage her care due to their ability to adapt to everyone's needs. It gives
me great confidence to know that the care provided there will always meet her needs. Elizabeth House is a clean and pleasant place to be and offers good and varied meals. a brilliant team who are always keen to help in any way they can.

I believe the care to be basic but that they do try to assist residents. There are many varied needs of the residents and perhaps they do not have the time or facilities to cater for some special needs.

Scorton Care Home is a beautiful place. The staff are so friendly and the residents always are cared for. Our relative especially, she looks so well since moving here. Her needs are being met by the team and us as a family feel we are very lucky that she lives here. They are a motivated team and person-centred.

When a family member is suffering from dementia it is the hardest decision on where to place them and will they get the best care and attention they deserve. I can’t say enough about Elizabeth House. The staff there are amazing, they treat patients as family members and they get the highest standards
of care. They smile with the residents and give them the respect that they deserve.
The home is immaculate (great cleaners!) and the food is really good.
The downstairs area allows space for residents to walk around and it has an adjoining dining area. The garden is a safe environment for residents to walk around.
My father has been at Elizabeth House for a year and I am safe in the knowledge that each week when I walk away I know that he is safe and being given the care he needs. I can’t thank all the staff enough, and especially the manager. It’s the team of people that make a care home and Elizabeth House has got this right. I would definitely recommend it.

I would recommend Elizabeth House to any family wanting care for their family member.
The staff are very welcoming and provide excellent support to not only my father but all the residents.
As a family, we were devastated to put our father in care, but it was made so much better with the continuing
support from all the staff at Elizabeth House, for which we thank you.

I would recommend Elizabeth House and the superb staff to any family wanting assurance their loved ones will be receive the highest standards and level of care.


The staff are always smiling, attentive and willing to go the extra mile to ensure residents and family feel welcome and provide excellent

personalised support to match each resident’s requirements.


Organised family days allow chance to meet fellow residents and the Elizabeth House team to discuss levels of care and activities.


There is a good sized communal area and adjoining dining facility with the added bonus of a good garden area to allow residents to have interests both inside and out.


Heartfelt thanks to the Homecare Manager Alina and the team who go the extra mile to care for our loved ones. We could not have felt more welcome.

Job Title: Home manager

Joined: 2014

I moved to the UK after living in Italy which time I completed further education to a high standard working in a senior role. My first role upon arriving here in the UK was as a Care Assistant at Scorton Care Village, North Yorkshire. This position gave me an insight into social care and I quickly made many connections within the area on a personal and professional level. My existing skills, knowledge, and experience gave me the opportunity to advance my career by seeking more challenging roles, including Unit Manager and Deputy Manager, before assuming my current position as the Registered Home Manager. During the past few years, I have actioned many changes within the service, achieving an overall “Good” from CQC and raising the profile of the home.


I consider myself to be fair, firm, honest, and committed to my role. I take pride in my work and am resolute when it comes to my responsibilities and accountabilities towards the service, residents, and staff. I am dedicated to ensuring that residents and staff receive the best support at Scorton Care Village and that I continue to make a difference.
