We have been visiting our friend who has been in Beechwood Place for nine months. She came in a very poorly condition with a severe neurological illness and with a marked weight loss. Since being here, very much due to the genuine love and care that has been given to her, she has improved immensely
in her health and has put on over two stone. We really do 'thank God' for you all.

Since my friend was admitted to Beechwood Place I have seen a massive difference in her, both physically and mentally. Her condition is known for deteriorating but she seems to be defying this through strong determination and excellent care given by staff.
She is eating healthy and gained weight which,
for her, is a good thing. I cannot praise the staff and level of care high enough.

I have peace of mind knowing my mother is in good hands and receiving the best care possible for her needs. I visit her once a week and it is a pleasure to see her happy and content. The staff are friendly and overall, she has never once complained to me about anything and of course, she would if she
wasn't happy.

Everyone is very welcoming when you go to visit. The staff are very helpful and put themselves out to help.

Not having previous experience of regularly visiting Beechwood Place, it was a total surprise when my wife was admitted from hospital where centre cells next to her brain could no longer be treated.
She was placed in a ground-floor room and the immediate care was so perfect she settled within hours.
My regular, twice daily, visits since confirm every day how perfect the staff are in the very difficult issues they have to cope with.

A very 'homely' place where the staff are first-class and cannot do enough to help residents and visitors. From what I see, the food looks to be plentiful and of first-class quality. The residents get a good 'social' life with in-house entertainment provided on a regular basis as well as outings.
I
have no hesitation in awarding this care home a 'five-star' rating.

Always very busy, but a warm welcome. I enjoy a coffee and cake on arrival for visitors. My only worry is my friend is often left too long to be changed, and when she presses her call button, the staff are very busy.

My mam has been a resident for just over a year now. The staff are so caring towards my mam and showed great support with the loss of our dad just before Christmas, not just to her, but also the children. She recently celebrated a big 90th birthday and the home allowed us to celebrate as a family and
to create memories with Mam. She thoroughly enjoyed being spoilt. Thank you to all staff and especially one staff member, in particular, the angel.

The palliative care received was efficient and caring meeting his needs and the family were supported through our journey and each stage was explained and his requirements were met with dignity. The care shown was adjusted for a younger patient 62 years with a short time left to enjoy but we were encouraged
to take each day with joy and created memories. The whole team worked together with compassion. Thank you so much to the Beechwood Place team during difficult times were made easier as it became a home.

My mum has been a resident at Beechwood for over six years. She is very well cared for and she is so happy and content there. The staff know Mum so well they know all her likes and dislikes and treat her with total respect.
