Crystal Court in Harrogate is a purpose-built care home located in the pretty village of Pannal in Harrogate. It is just 2.9 miles from the Valley Gardens, where residents can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and peaceful surroundings.

Each of the 68 ensuite single bedrooms is furnished to the highest standard, offering residents the chance to enjoy pure comfort and tranquillity.

At Crystal Court providing independence and choice is very important and residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with their belongings to help them feel at home and as comfortable as possible.

All residents are supported to live an active and fulfilled life. The person-centred care enables residents to keep on doing the things they’ve always loved.

First-class care and attention to detail from day one, Crystal Court made the process of my father being admitted during the lockdown. He settled very quickly and was looked after extremely well.

Really impressed with the manager and how friendly and knowledgeable she is when I’ve spoken to her on the phone. It’s good to know that people can still remain professional during this difficult time. I do not live locally but I was reassured that my Aunt remains safe and comfortable, and I am so grateful
to all the staff who work so hard and who are dedicated to caring for others. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the home as my experience has been wholly positive.

Thanks to the professionalism of the nurses, carers and all the dementia team Dad spent his final months in a safe, caring atmosphere. He always seemed happy in his new home and loved the attention he received from the dementia team who always took so much care of him. Mum always went home knowing Dad
was settled therefore she did not stress about him being left which was a good thing for her health. Sadly Dad passed away but I can’t thank the home enough for looking after him in his last few days sitting with him and talking to him even though they were busy.

Nothing but praise for the staff who cared for our mother during her last weeks . Always showing her kindness and always there at hand when ever she needed assistance . Her room was light and cheerful with patio doors opening out onto the garden. Many thanks you did a wonderful job.

My mother became a resident of Crystal Court a few weeks ago after being in hospital for quite a while. I can honestly say that the place is spotlessly clean, the staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The food is superb and my mother was looked after so well. Unfortunately, she passed
away last week after a long illness but the head lady and all the staff were there to support my husband and myself. I would highly recommend this nursing home to anyone requiring these needs. I cannot praise it enough.
Thank you to everyone there for all that you have done for my mother.

Six months ago my husband became a resident at Crystal Court. He was very agitated and unhappy after being in hospital for several weeks and his dementia and Alzheimer's disease had become much more severe. Very soon after the kind care and attention from a dedicated staff he has become much calmer
and seems happier. The Staff go to extraordinary lengths to make the lives of both residents and those of their family the best they can be. I feel fortunate that my husband has been able to take up residency here and would wholeheartedly recommend it.

We found ourselves in a difficult place having to find emergency care for my mother-in-law, due to the loss of her husband, which was totally unexpected. Making that choice was traumatic but on meeting with the support team immediately gave us confidence we were making the right choice.
From day
one we have had no concerns whatsoever about the well being, care and conduct of my mother in law. In the lead up to the funeral we were struggling to secure a hair appointment so that she could look her best, and one of the carers came to the rescue so that on the day of the funeral my mother in law looked her absolute best.
Since arriving at Crystal Court my mother in law has never looked better.
To us, her Dementia has actually improved albeit fractionally but with this disease, fractional improvements are all it takes to give a better quality of life. That is due to the mental and emotional stimulation provided by everyone there.
The food is excellent and my mother in law want's for nothing. Long may it continue is all I can say.

Thought and care were shown before mum moved in. Time was taken to get a brief snapshot of mum, the person. From this, her room was decorated and prepared beforehand in her favourite colour. The whole team have a smiling approach and are able to strike a balance between encouraging independence while
at the same time keeping a constant watchful eye to give help and assistance as soon as it is needed. A genuine willingness and sensitivity to care for a person as if they were a member of their own family shine through.

My father has been a resident for four years and had many changes due to his health regarding ever changing support and needs.
The nursing staff are extremely vigilant, caring and never hesitate to call the doctor etc.
The carers are happy and engage with Dad and brought him up on a social level.
Approximately two years ago he was totally withdrawn, two years ago we had end of life care in place; without the continual ongoing and changes in care/diet/social, we would not be enjoying his company now.

My experience covers periods July 2015 to April 2017. My wife after one month in hospital was diagnosed as suffering from severe Dementia and Alzheimers. She entered the care home above and she was looked after and treated very well indeed. Sadly she has recently died and even now the care home staff
continue to feel very sad for my wife, myself and our two daughters. I would definitely recommend this care home

My mother lived in Crystal Court following a stroke which left her with dementia type symptoms, not mobile and requiring lots of supervision. I found her care was of a very high standard. She was always clean and tidy and the staff treated her with dignity. I found the staff to be professional, helpful
and dealt with all requirements with the minimum of fuss. When she returned to hospital following a second stroke, nurses there commented on how good her skin had been. All relatives who visited her at Crystal Court were pleased with the home, staff and care she received.

The staff at Crystal Court are amazing, they do their job professionally as one team. They are all very kind, helpful and dedicated. I have worked within the Social Care since 2011 working across many disciplines within the industry.


I settled at Crystal Court in 2017 moving up to Home Deputy in 2021 during which period I achieved my NVQ Level 5 (distinction) in healthcare leadership and management.


I am honoured and excited to be the Home Manager at Crystal Court and I aim to ensure that the core values we hold dear are upheld and built upon.
