Peacock Manor has taken amazing care of my grandmother for the last year. All of the staff have gone out of their way to ensure she is well looked after and feels safe in her surroundings. It makes such a difference knowing she is so well looked after.

This nursing home is very welcoming. I visit it every month to see my brother, the staff are attentive and spend time with him whenever they can. He is much better since being admitted to a care home. They provide healthy and nutritious food and they also provide coffee to us visitors. They keep them
entertained by holding different events such as bingo and games. Overall this is a wonderful home where there is a sense of belonging, would definitely recommend.

Our Mother recently passed away after a year in care at Peacock Manor Nursing Home. We are very grateful to all the staff who looked after Mum during her time there. She was well cared for with sensitivity, respect and dignity. Visits were well-managed, providing a relaxed atmosphere to meet with Mum
whilst always taking into account coronavirus restrictions. Mum was happy and comfortable at Peacock Manor. Thank you.

We like to thank the management and staff at Peacock Manor on behalf of our family for the care and dedication they gave to our aunt while she was with them following a serious illness. The care they gave was compassionate to both ourselves and our aunt and allowed her to pass away with the utmost dignity
in comfortable surroundings after a long illness. We felt totally at ease and confident at all times that she was receiving the best care from all the staff that always went beyond mark while giving us support to deal with the obvious outcome for our mum. When she finally passed away we visited her to find they had arranged her with flowers in her hands, and the final goodbye was something nice to remember after the distress of the weeks before at last, she was at peace.
The staff can only be described as caring.


Special thanks to the caring staff, we will never forget their kindness.

When my husband was admitted to Peacock Manor in January we had been in a crisis situation for a few weeks. The nursing home was the best possible place for him to be as he needed more care and attention than he could receive in a care home. From the moment we stepped through the door I could feel the
friendly atmosphere, care and consideration for my husband with Alzheimer's, and myself. The communication with the staff was excellent, they always rang to tell me when the GP had seen my husband and we discussed his end of life care when that period approached. Although he deteriorated quickly due to dementia and increasing frailty, I was confident that he had the best care from staff who really did care about him and treated him with respect and kindness. He was only there for five weeks, but I would not hesitate to recommend Peacock Manor.

From the very beginning, we have been treated with help and concern. A very warm and friendly atmosphere. The concern for residents is very obvious and leaves me feeling my husband is looked after as well I could myself. I have complete confidence he is getting the best treatment. As my husband became
a resident during lockdown, I cannot comment on the building as we are not allowed in yet.

Our mum was in Peacock Manor for a number of years. During that time the Care Home team supported my mum and gave her the best of care, as she went through changing mental and physical behaviours mostly due to dementia and of course old age. In all that time, I was comforted to know that my mum had
the best of care from all the team including the supervisory and management. The owners have invested time and money to improve the quality of the residents' surroundings which I was grateful for. My mum was at times a challenging resident in her early years there but this did not mean that the quality of care was affected. The level of patience and professionalism by the team has always been positive and supportive.

My father spent his last months here and throughout he was treated with dignity and respect by all the staff. On top of my father's condition, Covid-19 meant we couldn't visit yet your carers went our of their way to enable phone calls and correspondence so we could reach out to him. We were kept informed
at all times of dad's condition and I know everything was done that could be done to help dad adjust to both his condition and his new home and this was very important to all his family.

The home has improved the way my wife is looked after. There are many changes I can see. I was able to visit my wife by keeping some distance. I was given a mask before I could see her. She looks good, am seeing her after a good 3 months, they look after her well. They did tests and don't have COVID
which is good news, well done.

We thank the team at the care home for looking after mom during her last days of life. They made sure a priest visited mom which was a big relief for us. We were allowed to visit mom during this stressful time and she was well looked after.
Mom looked peaceful and calm.

My Dad was looked after well and the staff were kind to update me always.
He was there for a small period of time but we were happy with the level of care he received. Nurses are brilliant that they contacted us when there were changes.

Can’t praise the support the staff here give both Mum and our family enough. Not seen my mum so relaxed and happy in years.
I call to see how she is each day so I can then report it back to Dad who misses her terribly. They always have little extras to tell me when they can.
Saw her today (through
glass) and the difference was great. She looks better now than she has in years.

Over the last year, there have been many changes in management and staff. However, this seems to be settling down. When settling our member into the room, nothing was too much trouble. The handyman was more than willing to help in making it homely with familiar pictures. The clinical lead is amazing.
There are some lovely staff, some permanent and some agency which I believe they are recruiting more permanent. There seems to be more training happening for staff which is ongoing. This is positive.

This is the best home my relation has been in. The staff could not be more caring towards my family member. The new manager is wonderful and very attentive to the needs of my relation after my relation had been in hospital for a few months due to another care facility not doing their job correctly.
Tancred Hall became a Godsend for my relation and myself. I now have peace of mind knowing my relation is clean, cared for, well fed and the staff go out there way for you. A wonderful place, I highly recommend. Thank you to all the staff.
