Having hoped and waited in vain for improvement over many months, my relative is now settled in a home with excellent management and care. Although I have group rated 'care' and 'staff' as Poor, a few individuals would have scored higher and it was sad to leave them.

My mother receives care appropriate to her needs- she is fed, changed, washed, bathed and has her hair washed by staff who are reliable and efficient and show my mother a lot of attention.

I have an elderly lady friend who has been in hospital for a while and at the moment is unable to return home. I brought her into Moorfield as I found the home to be small with not a lot of residents but very homely and welcoming. Some of the staff have been employed there for years and are very kind
and caring.

My dad has been at Moorfield for nearly 3 years and couldn't be happier. He has a great relationship with all of the staff including domestics and the chef and other kitchen staff. Every one of them always has a cheery word for my dad and me and the rest of our family. After a recent spell in hospital
dad couldn't wait to get back 'home' in his words. Now he has settled back he is really happy again. I am really happy with dads care knowing that his needs are being met and that he is in a safe and caring environment.
