We are sorry you have had to raise concerns around your aunt’s hearing aids and dentures. We have reviewed the procedure in place and can confirm that the procedure in itself is effective, and this has been discussed directly with the care team to ensure they follow procedure going forward.

Thank you for raising your concerns around staffing levels at Falstone Manor, we appreciate all feedback received. We work within a staffing grid which is worked out based on the dependencies of our Residents – this allows us to ensure we have the correct amount of staff to Residents.
We respond to the needs of the unit following a dependency review each month. The allocation of staff is reviewed daily by the management team in the home, and the deployment of staff duties on each unit is the responsibility of the person in charge and is reviewed on a day to day basis.
With regards to your concerns raised around meals, our meals are based on seasonal menus, using locally sourced produce, created by our hospitality team to ensure maximum nutritional value, taste and meal experience for our residents. Any meal changes to menus should be communicated to our residents. Our kitchen staff and chefs are also happy to cater for personal preference and offer alternative options on request.
