My mother-in-law came into Lindisfarne in February - she has dementia. We were suddenly faced with the task of choosing a home! We were initially put off Lindisfarne as there were no reviews. Luckily, this didn't put us off and we went with our gut feeling. The manager couldn't have made it easier
for us, all the staff are fantastic. They have made her feel safe, comfortable and loved. She has put weight on as she was just 6 st when admitted. She's made friends and is joining in with the activities. When we take her out she goes back without any problem. Not a typical dementia patient. She is very active, the staff have found numerous ways of keeping her stimulated even giving her jobs to do in the office which she is loving! She actually thinks she works there at times and has also told us she likes living up this cul-de-sac and is thinking of having an extension built! Bless her, this shows us how settled she is! It's still early days but we couldn't be happier with this care home and the staff.
