Eston Lodge Care Home is professionally run with a warm and caring atmosphere and aims to enhance the quality of life for all 49 residents. Eston Lodge Care Home is registered, and therefore licensed to provide services, by the Care Quality Commission.

Eston Lodge has acquired a reputation as having the very highest standards for residents with all levels of care, employing highly trained registered nurses and care assistants who provide 24-hour professional support.

Eston Lodge’s experienced team of staff are all trained in caring for people, including those with dementia and complex needs. The team provide a balance between support when it’s needed, and helping residents maintain their independence, whilst encouraging each resident to lead a full and active lifestyle wherever possible.

The person-centred care for every resident is unique. Therefore each resident has their own plan of care that meets their emotional, psychological, social and spiritual needs, as well as physical needs. Staff are committed to ensuring residents maintain self-respect and dignity at all times.

Stimulation and activities are particularly important for residents who enjoy physical and mental activities such as baking, reminiscence, painting, music and arts, gardening, gentle exercise and life skills, which helps bolster strength and energy, and offers an opportunity to interact with staff and other residents.

Staff so helpful and courteous since mother joined 6 years ago. Pleasure to see them and talk to them about progress even through the pandemic. Well done to all.

I have always found the residents to be treated with care and respect and are always clean and tidy. The care home itself is well kept and the gardens are always nice. I would be happy to be a resident in the care home myself. I have always been made welcome and treated like a friend.

My wife has been a resident for four and a half years. I saw her every day, morning, noon and night for 3 years. I know all the staff by first names. Last year knock on window and now half an hour visits. She has had visits from the dentist, chiropodist and hairdressers. Spent time in her room and had
her meals with her. Even though she has dementia she has always been cheerful when I visit. Never had any reason to complain about anything.

Not having seen my sister since I returned from holiday to lockdown in March we called at the care home purely by chance yesterday to ask about my sister's health and well being. A member of staff very kindly offered to bring her in a wheelchair to a room with a large window where we would be able to
see and speak to her. We were rather apprehensive but what a dramatic change we saw. She immediately recognised us smiling and pointing a finger in surprise, was animated and looked physically well and healthy. She was dressed, clean and HAPPY!! You have worked wonders (not miracles) but it is such a relief to know how well she is and has been looked after especially in these terrible COVID times and I can't thank you and your staff enough. We are delighted to know that plans are in place to provide a specially designed COVID safe visiting room with a glass partition in the near future and look forward to visiting again soon. Well done and thank you for your care, compassion and hard work.

I would just like to say how much I appreciate the care and support my mam receives. In March, when I gave my mam a cuddle just before lockdown, was concerned that it might be the last time I give her a cuddle. But the management and staff have done a monumental job of keeping themselves safe, in order
to care for our loved ones. The home is like home, it is airy and clean. The staff can't do enough for the residents. My mam has really settled in, and I know she is happy there. The staff keep us updated on activities and changes.

My mam and dad were in this home on different occasions until the end of their lives.
I would like to say they were the utmost personal, professional level and very much loving care.
The staff are amazing; I knew they were in safe hands. As a family, we had a good rapper with staff who kept us updated
every step of the way.

Having moved my dad from a different care home, we couldn't be happier with this care home. The staff are amazing and caring, friendly and look after my dad really well. The home is clean and the food is lovely. My dad has settled really well and is happy here.

Staff at the care home have cared for my mother over the last few years. As a family, we feel confident that she is well cared for and settled here. We were very apprehensive about my sister having to move from another care home to this one, but we had no need to worry, as the staff were very caring and gentle with her and most reassuring to myself and family. I felt confident that they would take care of her.
Time has shown that this was an excellent
move for my sister. She has responded well to the staff and says how happy she is to be at the care home. We are most grateful to all the staff for the improvement we now see in my sister.

As a Health Care Professional, Tracy has many years of experience in providing care and support for older people, helping to enrich their lives in the process. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest possible standards of care and quality of life for Residents.


Tracy uses her experience to motivate the team to deliver care and support in a way that Residents gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Tracy said, “The Residents, the people. Hearing laughter in the home and supporting Residents to fulfil their hopes and dreams. Everything is possible with the right love and support behind you.”
