My dad has been in Marske Hall now for numerous years and as a family, we are more than happy with the care and love he receives in the home.
Growing up around the care industry I have never been in a more lovely home with staff who actually care about their service users and give the same level of
care and attention they would receive in their own homes by their family members.
But over this past year, the staff have truly excelled themselves in the care and protection from covid they have provided to the service users, constantly going above and beyond what the job requires and we would like to thank them all from the bottom of our hearts for looking after them when we could not.
I would like to give special recognition to one member of staff in particular, for the amazing care she provides for my dad and all of the other residents, I don’t think she classes this as work but her passion. I hope she receives the recognition she deserves for the outstanding things she does for Marske Hall

Marske Hall is a friendly, welcoming home. I feel privileged to be part of the Marske Hall community and have met the most amazing people and made firm friends with residents, staff and volunteers. The hall is a central community hub and it has been sorely missed as such during the last year. Everyone
involved in the hall, and the wider community in Marske, will be delighted when they can return. The community at the hall, along with the dedication of staff, volunteers, residents and their families to making it a great place to live, is what makes it special. It is a truly fabulous home.

I have been a volunteer at Marske Hall for about 6 years and have seen the commitment, caring and compassion of the staff at Marske Hall. Their determined approach to the resident's wellbeing is outstanding and the same applies to getting the residents involved in activities, outings and taking part
in organising and participating with their families in the many fundraising efforts throughout the year. The hall is recognized as part of the Marske community as shown by the fundraising success and the family atmosphere the residents and staff love being part of. I have been privileged to be part of the Marske Hall Volunteers and would have no hesitation recommending this home to anyone.

The hard-working management and staff are committed to providing residents with dignified care. They have always nurtured and cared for my sister with absolute professionalism. I am particularly delighted to see photographs of my sister joining in activities – she is never left out. The staff have always
been friendly and understanding and have taken the time to help me to keep in touch with my sister. I have always been impressed by their compassion and dedication and cannot praise them highly enough.

My husband has lived at Marske Hall for a number of years and as I have lived in the village for most of my life it’s so lovely that he is so close. He originally went into a nursing home in Middlesbrough but that was not suitable and I fought very hard to get him into the Hall and it’s the best thing
I could have done for him. They have always treated him with dignity and respect even when he’s been very challenging. The staff treat him as a friend and that’s lovely to see. It really is a family atmosphere and the staff also treat me like part of the family and feel like I can talk to them about anything. Any concerns I’ve had have always been dealt with quickly and efficiently. My husband spends much of his days in the activities hall the staff in there are so good with him I couldn’t ask for anything better particularly the volunteer organiser she is so good with my husband and has a lovely demeanour. The pandemic has been terrible but I have been confident in the staff there.

Very welcoming staff who provide excellent care for all residents. You can clearly see that it is their vocation in life. Residents are cared for well and when times allow, the staff and volunteers deliver a range of rich and engaging activities. The volunteers always strive to provide the residents
with the best opportunities using their own skills. Marske Hall is a hub of the community.

I am a volunteer at Marske Hall, the caring nature of all staff is wonderful to see. The residents take an active part in the community and fundraising events. In recent months, due to lockdown, residents have been missed in village life. I am often asked by the community how the residents are doing.
The regular updates, cards, and miss you messages I get are a delight to receive. I, along with other volunteers. cannot wait to get back to see our friends. Marske Hall a truly special place, I feel very lucky to be a part of it.
