My dad was very well cared for from the moment he arrived at Kingston Court. All of the staff went above and beyond to care for my dad. Nothing was ever any trouble. As a family, we were treated with great care and compassion. We deeply thank you for everything you have done while Dad was in your care.

My father spent his final 20 days here. The staff catered for his every need. I would like to praise the nurses, carers, and cleaners for being absolutely fantastic. They are all friendly lovely people and helped immensely through this difficult time.

Father has been cared for by Kingston Court staff.
Care is excellent, even when under pressure and short-staffed. He is also well presented and the staff are so pleasant and kind.
Always informed of my father's care and needs and ensure he is well looked after.

I only visit my friend once or twice a month but have been very impressed with what I see. The staff are all very helpful, friendly and patient. The home itself is spotlessly clean and very pleasant.

Since my wife was admitted to Kingston Court Care Home Carlisle, I have had nothing but praise to all the staff. If I asked a person a question and that person was unable to give me an answer, then they would speak to somebody to get the answer. The staff have been very helpful and nothing has been
too much of a problem for them. They have taken a lot of care of my wife and always found time to talk to me if I have had any problems and are always courteous. A big thank you is due to all the staff. Wonderful.

Our mam recently moved to Kingston Court from another care home. Her dementia needs were getting worse and she needed nursing dementia and more support. Since arriving, despite challenging behaviour from our mum, we cannot thank the staff at Kingston Court enough for persevering, caring and being committed
to making her happy and settled.
To see all agencies working together (social worker, mental health team, OCC health and the care home) is such an incredible investment in our mam. I live away and can only visit every three weeks. To have this in place makes this journey so much easier. Thank you for not giving up and for caring.

Kingston Court Care Home is an exceptional care home. A warm, clean, caring and friendly home. The staff are always polite and informative with a smile to go wth it. I always know when I leave after visiting my mum that she is being looked after and cared for. The home is immaculate.

The palliative nursing care my mum received was superb, carried out with kindness and compassion where Mum was always treated with dignity. Mum’s personal care was excellent, her meals were catered to suit her dietary requirements and her washing was done daily. All staff were friendly and supportive
not only to Mum but to me also which was greatly appreciated and a huge comfort during a difficult time. Thank you.

When I was asked if I agreed for my mother be transferred to a care home for end-of-life care from the hospital, I was initially concerned. I asked if I could visit the care home and was immediately told that I could. As the home was within the grounds of the hospital, I was able to do this quite quickly.
The staff were welcoming and cheerful, the environment was clean and homely looking and I was shown two rooms which were available at that time. Mum was transferred the same day and I have never regretted the decision. As a family, I feel we were all supported as Mum reached her final days. Staff were caring and looked after Mum as I would have done if I had been able. We were able to decorate her room with pictures and items from home. The nursing staff kept us informed every step of the way. I feel that staff genuinely cared about us all. When she passed the nursing staff continued to support us, helping with organising a funeral director and answering a million questions.

My mam has been in Kingston Court Care Home for a number of years now. She is settled and likes the carers, who care about their charges. The manager has always got time to discuss things and the nurses will discuss Mam's care plan if I am worried about anything. I feel confident she is well cared for
and happy.

Heartful thanks to all the staff for the care that both my parents received during their time at Kingston Court. During what were difficult times over the last couple of years staff showed their care, compassion and love for my parents as individuals and as a couple. That support extended to me and
the rest of the family too.
Staff from all departments contributed to their care in a professional manner, and I know there were many people who contributed and played a part in supporting them.
Towards the end of my parents' lives it was sometimes the short conversations that they had with staff that the individual staff member wanted me to know about, and this was so reassuring. There was also constant checking that I was OK. I knew my parents were in safe hands.

Kingston Court Care Home really care! My mum has only been discharged from hospital for a short time and already we know we made the right choice. My wife and I arranged a meeting with the care home manager within a week of my mum arriving there to discuss her ongoing care needs. We ended up meeting
both the Manager and Deputy Manager and they couldn't have been more helpful. Suffice to say that both my wife and I came away from the meeting feeling we had received more help, guidance and advice in the space of an hour, than we had received from the NHS and the social care system in the seven and a half years we had been looking after Mum at home. The room that Mum is now in is clean and airy and she is far more settled than she has been in a long time. I know it's early days but all the staff seem friendly, helpful and extremely caring which is what you want in a care home.
