My Mother was stepped down into an interim bed following an inpatient stay at the hospital.
From the start, she was treated with dignity, respect and cared for well.
Her family were listened to with respect.
They provided excellent end of life care for my mother. The room and common areas were super
clean.

Dad spent 10 days in Kingston Court after being 'fast-tracked' from hospital for end-of-life care. (The hospital suggested Kingston Court, having established there was a bed available.) The service and care provided can only be described as outstanding in every respect. The transfer administration was
swift and the staff were friendly and very helpful at a stressful time for my father and the rest of the family. We spent a lot of time with Dad until he passed away. The nursing and care staff were exceptional throughout and we couldn't have asked for more. Everyone we met was attentive, caring and professional and Dad was made as comfortable as possible with highly effective pain management. Visiting family were also looked after tremendously well, with compassion and frequent offers of food and drink: nothing was too much trouble. When the end came, the support was superb and the staff could not have been more thoughtful or kind. A first-class service!

My mother was admitted from hospital having been a resident at another home.
We were offered permanent residency which we were pleased to accept. Mum's care was exceptional from the beginning. The nursing staff and carers were professional and kind and gave us all unstinting support. Mum was at Kingston
Court for 10 months and although very tired and weak towards the end nothing was ever too much trouble. From first visit to last her care was excellent.

During a very difficult and upsetting time with my Dad's illness, we were offered a room in Kingston Court for him to help him get back on his feet. What a fantastic place...as soon as you walk in the atmosphere is so nice and relaxed and very organised. We were talked through everything that would
be happening and any questions were answered in a very reassuring way.
The staff are lovely and work as a team and nothing is too much trouble for them. Every one of them were smiley and really seemed to enjoy their job which is so nice for the residents. Kingston Court itself is beautifully furnished with different decor in each room and the residents can take their own TV or items from home which I thought was very special. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and tidy and it was such a relaxed place to sit with Dad. Every day there is a different entertainment for the residents from flower arranging, bingo, movie days, pamper days, the list goes on.
I didn’t know a place like this existed. Thank you.

My sister has been resident in Kingston Court for six months during which time her health has improved beyond all expectation. The staff have been very supportive, friendly and efficient providing not only health care but equally important social and welfare support that has contributed so much to my
sister's progress. The lady who is leaving Kingston Court is able to do so thanks to them.

My Mum had been a resident for nearly 3 years and unfortunately, we lost her on 23rd Of April 2018.
We cannot commend enough the love, dignity, respect and care that she received. As a family, it was with heavy hearts when she had to go into a nursing home but we were made to feel that it was our home
too and the staff became part of our extended family. We had some low times but humour, laughs and fun were never far away and this was down to the wonderful carers and nurses, lots of whom are still in touch.
Visiting daily meant that we were aware of Mum's medical needs and care, something we are grateful for as her best interests were paramount to us.
Finally but very importantly was her end of life care which we will never forget. Such compassion, love and respect for our much loved Mum was amazing.

My father-in-law moved into Kingston Court Care Home for palliative care in December 2017, after being diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. He was there for three weeks.


The care home was both friendly and welcoming. Senior Management wanted it to feel like home, proved to be attentive and tried

to meet all my father-in-law's needs.


Care staff were all friendly and attentive, with a positive, supportive approach, always trying to do what the he wanted. My father-in-law was treated with respect and dignity at all times.

I think my brother can be stubborn at times with his illness but at times when I visit him, he looks as though he has not been cleaned very well and shaved, I know if he says no then they can't do it but I think they are other ways to achieve this otherwise everything is ok.

My husband was only with you for 2 weeks before he passed away.
I cannot say thank you enough for the care he received during this time.
The staff were brilliant - they also supplied us with tea and coffee and sandwiches to keep us going which was a great help during this difficult time.

The care and attention all staff gave to my brother in his final days were excellent.
He was in 5 days and was cared for with dignity.
Nothing was too much trouble for anyone.
I would highly recommend if anyone needed their loved one cared for.
My brother was confined to his bed, so didn’t get
to do the activities, but I noticed the other residents enjoyed theirs.

Mum was resident at Kingston Court (EMI unit) for just over 5 years. Her personal care appeared excellent overall with her hygiene and nutrition needs appearing well met. The staff always greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome and the trained staff were great at communicating if there were any
queries or issues.


The environment was lovely and clean without the 'care home odour' of many other establishments. Mum's room had an en-suite with basin and toilet and was pleasantly decorated, the activity co-ordinators also provide a great service from what we could see. For EMI residents, things have improved with a reduction in noise - doorbell/buzzer, however, I am aware that there are difficulties with residents being able to 'feel the sun' on their face. However, should the resident be bedridden requiring a low bed and crash mat - there is no way for them to see out of their room window, although there are full-length windows at the ends of the corridors. Maintenance needs a bit of a tweak too.

I've been visiting Kingston Court for a few years now and can't complain about the level of care given. It's a welcoming home, very clean and tidy. My nana is really happy there her room is clean and there are always activities on offer. The menus are good too, the staff are there to help if you need
anything thing or help with something.
It's a lovely place and I'm glad my nana is cared for here.

I have visited my grandmother a lot and I was pleased to see that she's getting the care she deserves. A team of dedicated people work in this care home together to assure high standards and quality care. Every day there are various social activities organised such as garden parties, visits from the
entertainer with music, they have also planned a visit from the ice cream van.
