My grandad has settled in really well. As a family, we were very worried about taking the step of grandad moving into a care home. The whole team at Beaconsfield put our minds at rest and looked after the whole family. Can't thank them enough.

The time came where I had to look for a home for mam, this was a very stressful time. Beaconsfield helped me with this process and were honest throughout. The place is a home from home, staff so friendly. My mam has settled in so well. I cannot thank the manager and her staff enough for helping us through
this difficult time.

My father lived in the Beaconsfield for over six years, throughout that time he was supported with care, patience, acceptance and so warmly with deep affection. His needs were very complex and challenging, but the staff unwaveringly responded with sensitivity and always filled with respect and empathy.
The dignity, gentle guidance and professional boundaries shown towards him and his family at the end of his life were beautiful and supportive in every way.

On our most recent visit, it was an open day. We were made most welcome by the manager and all the staff, the atmosphere was warm and friendly and everyone was looking forward to the entertainment arranged by the activities coordinator. Visits by the minis and therapy dog were lovely to see and brought
many a smile. Cakes, tombola and raffle with many lovely prizes and a singer for the afternoon with a visit from the Mayor. Had a lovely day and it was great to see the care that went into making it a special day for all.

Home is excellent, clean. Staff are kind, caring and extremely helpful. The home manager is a credit to the company, has been open, caring, very transparent as regarding my Dad's condition and how they are caring for him. Extremely happy with the care home and would recommend it to anyone who required
it.

My mum came to the Beaconsfield following diagnosis of pancreatic cancer which made it impossible for her to remain at home due to her health. My first impression of the Beaconsfield was 'a friendly family run hotel' - the atmosphere is excellent and the level of care was first class.
I would have
no hesitation in recommending the Beaconsfield. Both the staff and facilities are excellent.

I visited the home during their Christmas Fayre and was very impressed with the work everyone put in. The Santa's Grotto was beautiful and my granddaughter loved it. The staff were all amazing and a good time was had by all.

Current Review Score: 9.4 (9.425)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.4 (9.425) out of 10 for Beaconsfield Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.5 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.887 for Beaconsfield Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (63 Excellents x 5) + (8 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 71 Ratings = 4.887

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 4.538 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Beaconsfield Court Care Home is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 = 3.6

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 32 registered maximum number of service users is 6.4. 6 Positive Reviews ÷ 6.4 = 0.938

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
