My dad has been in Brockwell Court Care Home for a year, the staff are all amazing with him, including the cleaners and maintenance team.
They encourage him to take part in the activities, which he does now.
The care they give my dad, in all aspects, is excellent and they are all so welcoming to myself
and family.
I am always in the knowledge that my dad is taken the best care of.

My mother stayed at Brockwell Court Care Home for respite due to myself and my partner going on holiday. This was the second time she had stayed here and it was her own choice to return. She stated that the staff and home were really good and looked after her very well. She has stated she would not
hesitate to return back to Brockwell Court.

Could not have wished for my gran to be in a better facility. The constant show of care is beyond what I could've wanted. All staff are extremely well-trained and the rapport they build with service users and their families is truly compassionate. Gran, unfortunately, moved out to another home however
cried for three days straight that she wanted to go back to Brockwell Court Care Home. All staff we spoke to regarding her coming back were so supportive and we, as a family, could not be happier with the home. Great work everyone, you're like an adopted family.

My auntie loves being in Brockwell Court Care Home in Consett. The place is always full of life and always something going on. Lots os activities and always lots of interaction between the staff and residents.
Talking of the staff, they are always friendly, very approachable and willing to go the extra
mile for visitors and most importantly, the people they are looking after.

As soon as you walk through the main doors at Brockwell Court Care Home, there is an instant friendly, caring atmosphere, care staff are so dedicated to their roles. My mam is in a temporary bed looking to become permanent. All care staff do an amazing job. I wouldn't have my mother anywhere else. Activities
are very well coordinated, fantastic place!

Having spent twelve weeks in the care home following a bad accident, my eyes were open to the hardworking team that's there. Nothing seemed to put them off, looking after all the needs of everyone and doing it in a very professional way. The younger staff members were so switched on to the job as well,
all seemed happy and smiling all the time. The older staff, some with a lot of years service, says something about the place. After a bit of a mix up at my time of leaving, a manager and supervisor jumped into a car and followed the ambulance to my home then got me into a wheelchair and got me into my house, to me they went above and beyond their jobs. Thank you all.

As soon as I arrived, I was made welcome, and the support of the staff was second to nine. There is nothing too much trouble for them. The care home is clean, food is good and plenty. Staff have helped me to recover so quickly, all because of their kindness and support.

The care home seems very friendly. The staff are good to talk to. The residents are very friendly. Plenty to do every day if you want to take part. Staff are kept very busy. The rooms are big enough for people. Good are outside for residents. Good for family parking, and also near the town centre and
all the shops nearby. Overall, care home is o.k.

I have lived here for 2-years and 4-months, I get fantastic care from the care staff, and they treat me really well. You wouldn't get this good care if you lived in a five-star hotel. The home is clean, and my room is a good size. I have no complaints.

The phone system is rubbish and needs updating. Mum is dissatisfied with the food quality and the variety is limited.

Our menus are created with feedback from residents and reflect their likes and dislikes. Residents have a food passport to capture any particular requirements or wishes in relation to food or the serving of meals. If our menu features something that is not to their liking, residents are able to request an alternative meal or order something from our Chef’s special menu that day. My father-in-law has been a resident here for the last twelve months, during this time, he has been very happy and content with the care he has received. He has spoken highly of all the staff and looks forward to chatting with them. Myself and the family highly recommended Brookwell Court Care Home,
all the staff have shown nothing but kindness and dedication towards my father-in-law; we really can’t thank them enough. They are absolute stars making the residents and families feel at ease knowing their loved ones are safe and well cared for. They do an amazing job always, especially during these uncertain times of this pandemic, keeping up everyone’s spirits and by keeping all the residents, families, and themselves safe. They are truly unsung heroes.

I would just like to thank the manager and all the wonderful staff at Brockwell Court for looking after my mother-in-law from August 2020. When she first went into Brockwell Court she was weak, fragile, dehydrated and suffering from malnourishment as she could not look after herself at home any longer
due to her condition. By October she was a new lady, the difference was amazing so we decided to make this a permanent place for her as she was so happy there. I would highly recommend this home for your loved ones.

I would like to say thank you Brockwell Court for letting my nana have best 92nd birthday she ever had. We communicate through Facebook and social media due to COVID-19. I appreciate them sending me photos and videos of her as I am unable to look through the window. Thank you for the staff taking their

My mother has been in Brockwell since August 2020 and has settled in well. Has put on some much-needed weight. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have lots of activities to help residents relax and enjoy. We can't thank them enough!

Becca is a determined and diligent individual who has been working in care for over 10 years. She began her career as a bank care assistant and has since progressed from Senior Carer to Deputy Manager to now Home Manager. She is proud of the team she is a part of. As a Home Manager, Becca enjoys the variety of no two days being the same. She loves being part of a team and supporting them to deliver the highest standard of care within the home.
