My aunt came into care, and I wasn't sure it was the right move. Since my aunt came into St Margaret's up until her passing this month, the care she received was excellent. The staff really improved her quality of life.

The care teams commitment to the job goes way above and beyond. Team members (my mother's carers) calling in to see her on their days off or even just ringing in to see how she is on their day off is just exceptional. Always respective of my mother. I really couldn't ask for better care. I thank them
all from the bottom of my heart.

The care my aunt received during the latter part of her life at St Margaret's was second to none. I could not fault them in any way. The care and dignity they showed my aunt was something I will treasure.
I am now looking for care for my mother; St Margaret's is my only choice. I couldn't want more
from such a lovely team.

After a long spell in hospital, my mother realised that she would not be safe to go back to her own home and that a move to a care home nearer family would be best.
Several care homes were visited and the impressions I got was that St Margaret's stood out well above the rest. The assistance received
from the manager was excellent. My mother moved in and during all her time there was looked after very well and made many friends with the residents and staff. Sadly my mother passed away in the middle of the covid crisis whilst in hospital. All the staff were very helpful during this sad time and I will not forget them.

I've always felt St Margret's were doing a great job looking after mum, but as it is the only care home I've seen, I didn't know how it compared to others. Tragically, COVID put care homes front and centre in the news, which gave me the chance to see how many others in the UK, US and Canada operate.
This has confirmed to me we certainly made a great choice with St Margaret's. I would recommend them highly based on my experience with their care for mum.

I moved my mum into St Margaret's Care Home in December 2019, it was important to have the right home for my mum. When I first looked at St Margaret's, I met one member off staff, when I turned up to look around, she said 'this will be your mum's home and we the carers will be her guests'. The staff
cared and took time to really get to know my mum as a person. From the cleaner to the manager they had a can-do positive approach in trying to improve the quality of my mum's life. If you want the best care for your parents I would recommend choosing this home as the care they provide really does what it says on the tin.

Since arriving in May 2019 the resident has been well cared for. He found the transition to the home challenging but the home staff took real care to help him settle in. His room is comfortable and a reasonable size and is kept clean.
The staff are very friendly and helpful even in difficult situations.

Very happy with the care my Dad receives. The staff are always friendly and helpful and anticipate my Dad's needs. The home itself is very clean and comfortable and well managed. Meals are also very good.

From the moment my brother and I were shown around St Margaret's Care Home I felt happy that this was the best care home for my father to be looked after in. The staff are very kind and thoughtful and are also so helpful to my dad, me and my family. This is a heartwrenching time for a family to know
their loved one will not return to their home but at least I know dad is being cared for to the best of their ability, even though at times they are very short of staff.

I have been a resident for 13 years. I am now 96 years old and hope to spend the rest of my days here. Needless to say, I have seen many people, including managers, come and go for one reason or another. During this time. Especially recently, I have been looked after by loyal, experienced staff well
and I am able to compare this with living alone out in the community. We have been through a difficult time recently and but for loyal staff, we could not function with this care and I am blessed.

My Dad came to St Margeret's care home from hospital after a fall due to his dementia. The staff are lovely. They have included my Mum in everything, welcoming her to stay and eat with my Dad, which I feel is very important. My Dad is treated with dignity and respect at all times. I would recommend
anyone considering a care home to look around.

Myself and my family hugely appreciate all the efforts the staff made to make Mams life at St Margaret's so enjoyable. In particular, the arrangement made to organise Mam's 100th celebration birthday on July 18th. The efforts made to make this occasion memorable were excellent. Clearly showing the staff
are exemplary in organizing, caring and arranging opportunities for residents to socialise at every opportunity. It's a joy to see all the elderly residents smiling. Mum loved every minute.

My Uncle was in poor health and condition when he was accepted into St Margaret's.
He had had numerous falls and was incontinent, also very unsteady on his feet.
Since being in this home he has improved greatly.
He has had a few falls and is monitored to prevent this from happening.
He is taken
to the toilet when necessary where previously he was unable to reach the toilet sufficiently quickly.
Staff also walk him up and down the corridor to improve strength in his legs.
I have nothing but grateful thanks and appreciation for the wonderful care he has had and is still getting.
The home itself is pleasant and airy and very comfortable.

I was always made welcome.
I was always kept informed of Mam's health.
I was given provision for a bed if required.
Mam was always kept clean.
Mam really enjoyed the good food.
The nursing staff always gave of their best even in difficult circumstances.
Any problems were dealt with quickly.
No
problems with money transactions.
Keeping an eye on clothes after being washed sometimes proved rather tricky.
