A committed team work hard to ensure that all provision is tailored to the individual, while allowing them to make the most of a relaxed and homely atmosphere.

The staff are first class as nothing is a trouble to them. They are very caring and respect the privacy of patients. Whatever you want, they try their best to provide. All very caring people.

Having already experienced dementia care elsewhere your service is superior in all activities associated to providing a dignified and caring service, also across the catering provided for residents.
Every member of staff demonstrates a high quality and caring service, ever mindful of the individuals
preferences and limitations. This is also extended to visitors with an open and friendly manner. Where incidents occur, information and action is taken directly, provided to the appropriate person. An area for improvement is to provide some interactive activities where residents are involved eg. armchair exercises.

My mam loves it here now, she has dementia so at first she wanted to go home, but the staff were so patient and helpful. We had all her things put in her room, even the internet, T.V on the wall. They helped her settle in, cut her nails and painted them, talked to her, gave her help even when she did
not know she needed it, like changing her, washing her face, giving her lots of drinks. She loves the food.

Ana

Ana Trifasi

Job Title: General Manager

Joined: 2010

Ana is our General Manager here at Hundens Park. Ana has been qualified as a Registered General Nurse for 17 years and has spent 14 of those years at Hundens Park. Ana’s first role at Hundens Park was as a Care Assistant.


She then progressed through various roles, including Registered Nurse, Clinical Lead Nurse, then Deputy General Manager. Ana now works as the General Manager of the home. Ana is very passionate about palliative care and is one of our three Palliative Care Champions at Hundens Park. The Palliative Care Champions are ensuring that we provide a dignified and respectful journey to all of our residents.


Victoria

Victoria Goodchild

Job Title: Deputy General Manager

Joined: 2023

Victoria is our Deputy General Manager here at Hundens Park. Victoria has been qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse for 6 years and has spent 4 of those years within Barchester Healthcare. Victoria’s passion for Nursing lies within elderly care and she has worked in both older age acute mental health services and Dementia care services since qualifying as a Nurse. Victoria is one of three Palliative Care Champions at Hundens Park. Victoria is currently studying for her Postgraduate qualification in Healthcare and Social Care management.

Job Title: Home Administrator

Joined: 2024

Laura works as the Home Administrator at Hundens Park. Laura has worked in finance and administration for the last 15 years and has now come to join our Barchester team.


She has also previously worked in a care role in Dementia and complex care.


Duncan

Job Title: Head of Maintenance

Joined: 2023

Duncan is our Head of Maintenance at Hundens Park. He has worked in maintenance roles within care home services for the last 8 years. Before this, he worked as an Engineer at Nissan for 15 years. Duncan also works as our Health and Safety Champion, ensuring all measures are met to maintain the safety and security of our residents and staff.

Michaela is one of our wonderful Nurses here at Hundens Park. Michaela qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse 10 years ago and has spent the last 4 years of her Nursing career at Hundens Park. Michaela works across our complex care units, ensuring that our residents receive an exceptional standard of care.

Job Title: Senior Care Assistant

Joined: 2014

Katie works as Senior Care Assistant at Hundens Park on our General Nursing Unit. She ensures the smooth running of the unit and exceptional care delivery is maintained. Katie has worked at Hundens Park for 10 years, having gained her NVQ 3 Health and Social Care qualification during her time here. Katie is also our Speak Up Champion for the home.


The Speak Up Champion role ensures we create a culture where everyone feels safe and supported to speak up about any concerns they may have, and Katie ensures she supports this by being a voice for all at Hundens Park.

Jess has worked at Hundens Park for the last 10 years in the role of Care Assistant, supporting residents in our General Nursing Unit. Jess is also our Wellbeing Champion here at Hundens Park. The Well-Being Champion is able to signpost and support their colleagues with maintaining their physical and mental wellbeing, whilst promoting a positive working environment.

Caitlyn works as a Care Assistant in our complex care units. Caitlyn has trained within Barchester to become a Dementia Champion. Dementia Champions ensures that our staff are equipped with the knowledge to be able to provide the best quality care possible to our residents. This is by ensuring staff have the skills required around types of Dementia and the effects Dementia can have on a person, and by understanding residents’ individual needs.
