My aunt settled in well (she has been there 9 months and 2 years in Beacon). She is calmer now and her hair is nicely cut and washed, a reflection of her calmer attitude.

Job Title: Home Manager at Northlea Court Care Home, Cramlington
Sandra qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1994 and dived straight into the care sector. She has gained a wealth of knowledge from her various roles, including Deputy Manager and Home Manager. Sandra left the business for a year in 2011 before returning as a Home Manager: she has been in her current post at Northlea Court for 10 years. When not at work, Sandra enjoys making and decorating cakes, and her favourite summer hobby is visiting her caravan in Northumberland every weekend. Words of encouragement from Sandra for someone looking for the right care home would be: “Make sure you get a good feeling from the home and the team.”
