Thank you for your words of support and gratitude. I will endeavour to let the staff know how grateful you are. Your mum was a lovely person with a great sense of humour and a pleasure to care for. She loved getting involved with both activities and chatting with the other residents and staff and will be missed. It was always a pleasure seeing you and your family when you visited your mum.

I'm deeply sorry your experience did not meet your expectations and we take all feedback seriously. Your relative was gifted 2 new jumpers by a staff member as a Christmas present, so it may be you have seen one of these on him during the colder months. I would be happy to point these out to you when you are next visiting and if you would prefer he is dressed in alternative clothes then please let us know, we are more than happy to do so. We take extra precautions with laundry items so I can assure you the clothes he is dressed in are his. In relation to the wheelchairs, these have all been checked and form part of our monthly maintenance checks. I would like to invite you to have a meeting at your convenience to discuss your relative and any concerns closely but please be assured the care and well-being of our residents is always our principal priority.

Thank you for taking the time to share this review with us. It’s reassuring to hear the infections have been low and residents are being well looked after. The home is an older home, sitting in a scenic landscape. We are currently looking into cosmetic refurbishment and our principal priority is to ensure this is completed with minimal disruption to the residents. Due to this being a live site, we are limited in the options for a full refurbishment. I will pass on your kind words about the staff to the home.

We take all feedback very seriously. My apologies that your experience was not what you had hoped for, although it is reassuring that you say the staff were lovely and your mum appeared to be looked after well. The care and wellbeing of our residents is always our principal priority. Unfortunately, your mum was not able to join in in group activities due to her health but she loved one-to-one chats and playing connect 4 in her room with our activities coordinator and other staff. I wish your mum well in her new home.
