I arranged a routine RPR visit at the home - Home staff were very welcoming and assisting. I had the opportunity to talk with the deputy manager who sat down with me and made time to discuss my cases in great detail which was incredibly helpful. The deputy manager went above and beyond to support me
on my visit. She’s incredibly passionate about both the residents and her role at Hafan-Y-Coed. Thank you.

Just have to applaud the whole staff at Hafan-Y-Coed for their wonderful and tender care of my mother. We are so reassured that she is being so well looked after, with genuine affection and love, often going the extra mile to please and comfort her. The entertainment programme, especially during December,
was amazing and well thought out to appease everyone. Well done! There is such a happy atmosphere here!

Dad has been at Barchester Hafan-Y-Coed Care Home since late 2023. The staff and management we have found to always be approachable and take the very best care of our dad. His room is always clean and tidy and clothes are always presented well.
The events team deserve a special mention. Dad may not
always engage with their activities but they always go out of their way to ensure Mam enjoys her visits with Dad and she often joins in on their concerts. One of the events team staff's choir was a fantastic addition to their programme.

The atmosphere is always a happy experience. Activities for residents are absolutely superb, so much going on all the time.
The staff are so lovely and caring and the visitors are also made very welcome.

Excellent home, my grandad has settled brilliantly.
Very caring and empathetic staff. We cannot fault anything. My other grandfather lived here until 2008 and the same goes for him. Overall excellent.

I also organise events for the community to get involved with, here at Hafan-Y-Coed we love to invite new faces into the home to join in with all the fantastic activities and events we have to offer.

I enjoy working alongside my team entertaining the residents on a daily basis, taking them out on our minibus every week, getting involved with the community and going above and beyond to deliver the Barchester Life Enrichment Programme.
