The staff have always been really great, they get to know your family to try to promote the best care.
They are always helpful and welcoming and were great with both my grandpa and grandma.

After a long period in hospital, my husband's condition had deteriorated so much I was in despair. Since his move to Hafan-Y-Coed I can't believe the improvement. Lovely surroundings, good quality food, lots of stimulation from an amazing entertainment team. I feel part of a warm friendly family who
give amazing care to my husband and cannot speak highly enough of the amazing staff for their compassion and care for each and every resident. I am so grateful to have found a vacancy at this lovely home.

My mum had been a resident for 5 years. She passed on the 1st of May. The staff were amazing. They loved my mum like she was their mum. The love and respect they gave her was amazing. In the 24 hours leading up to losing her, they were so loving and compassionate. They couldn’t do enough for us. They
didn’t just make my mum as comfortable as she could be but they made this awful experience a little easier for her family. I was a mess and the numbness was debilitating. The honour walk lineup they did for my mum as she was being taken away was the most amazing act of kindness, love, respect and compassion I have ever witnessed and something I will never forget. They weren’t just carers/nurses they were part of the family. They really did love her.
I can’t thank the manager and the team enough, especially the ones who were by our side for the 28 hours. You know who you are, I will never forget that. Thank you so very much.

I am overwhelmed by how wonderful Hafan-Y-Coed Care Home is. Such a family unit. My father has settled so well and absolutely loves the care and being spoilt by all the staff. I cannot wait to join in the activities with the very friendly and fun team. I cannot fault the care staff and everyone involved
in caring for the residents, you can see how wonderful the staff are with all the residents and that makes the residents so happy.

Absolutely so happy that my mum is happy and well cared for here. The staff are like family, loving and attentive - nothing is too much trouble when we ask. Entertainment staff are worthy of any holiday camp! Brilliant and so much fun. I'm booking a place when I'm ready!

I am so glad my grandfather is very happy and settled in this nursing home. I am happy he has made new friends here and the staff are good with him. He loved the football in the stadium and he loved the theatre and I love seeing the photos and my grandfather is having the right care and support.

I can only say that you are excellent, staff from the manager to all the other support staff, carers, cooks and nurses that help run Hafan-Y-Coed. I had always heard excellent reports from previous families who had stayed at the home. My father has recently arrived at Hafan-Y-Coed and I feel he has
become part of the family, the events team are excellent with the interaction they have with everyone. Well done to all the staff.

All staff go above and beyond in every way to make my mother in laws life normal, comfortable and enjoyable. The food is top quality and the cleanliness is very good. The care she receives is excellent. She is treated with dignity at all times and enjoys the activities, the activities are very good.
Although the care home is very expensive, in my opinion, it is the best in the area and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.

Lovely place, with superb staff and team, always spotlessly clean and Mum is dressed beautifully. Great activities and events and always feel valued, listened to and very welcome anytime. Mum would have never made the recovery and progress anywhere else as she has.

Staff are always warm and welcoming. Staff are always happy to help accommodate Dad. Management are approachable, and problems that have arisen have been dealt with. Activity coordinators are fantastic and happy to help. Staff enabled us to bring Dad home for Christmas Eve which was wonderful for the
family.

My family and myself are over the moon with the excellent care my mum receives at Hafan Y Coed. Every member of staff goes above and beyond to ensure the residents get the quality of care they deserve. The residents are treated with dignity and respect and are treated as individuals. We are so happy

Hafan-y-Coed has been providing the most exceptional care to my gran after her move. Nothing is too much, they are so friendly and caring towards all the residents. It makes me so relieved to know she is in such good hands, safe and happy. There are always activities going on and plenty of engagement.

I enjoy working alongside my team entertaining the residents on a daily basis, taking them out on our minibus every week, getting involved with the community and going above and beyond to deliver the Barchester Life Enrichment Programme.
