As always, my visit to see my mother went very well. The staff are always friendly and professional and also try to be very accommodating. The building is very clean and tidy, inside and out. Overall, the experience is always very good and hassle-free. Well done to all of you.

Since my mother's been a resident of Bryn Celyn, my family and I have been very satisfied and relieved at the level of care she's received. Every member of staff has been very helpful, attentive and caring, which has dispelled any doubts or concerns I may have had. Particular gratitude is due to the
nursing staff, three in particular and I must make mention of the general manager who has been so obliging, welcoming, helpful and professional. In summation, the level of care has surpassed our expectations, for which my family and I are extremely grateful. Thank you all!

Having worked in Bryn Celyn, I know the dedication the staff have with the residents (I don't like the term service user). This is their home, so to me, this is their residence. Every effort is made to ensure the residents are cared for, both mind, body and spiritual. Regular events and celebrations
keep them in touch with the world outside.

I come from Port Talbot, so I have made new friends in Maesteg. Everyone is great and the staff. We had a great day on Sunday for the Queen's Jubilee. Nice food and two smashing singers. The gardens are fine and I have got a tree planted for my son, he has died. I am happy here.

Food is very good, flexible menus etc. The staff are very caring, but often short-staffed. The activities are good, but often geared towards female residents. Top-up fee far too expensive and questions to administration team not answered.

The care provided is fantastic. My mother is involved in plenty of activities, along with the rest of the residents. The staff are very kind and caring and do a very good job. The residents health is a prime priority. Testing and masks are in place to ensure their safety.

Since living at Bryn Celyn I have renewed friendships with people who I went to school besides making new friends.

Since I have come to the home I had no idea about the running of the home but the staff are so obliging it only took hours and not days to find out how the system works that’s because the help is always there.
The home is run so well and everybody has got time for you, considering they are so busy.

This is a very nice residential home. The staff are friendly and professional and outstandingly caring. The food is of 5 star hotel standard and the room was very comfortable. Our dear dad has been poorly recently as a result he has spent the last few weeks at Bryn Celyn care home. Whilst there he has received exemplary care from the wonderful staff. They are all fantastic and dad returned home this week. I would like to record here my sincere thanks to every one of the managers,

My mum has been very well cared for since coming in December 2019. I have been very pleased with her care throughout Covid. I have been grateful for all the care and love given to my mum by the fantastic staff. Communication has been excellent - regular emails and always willing to talk at any time.

My 96-year-old mother was recently taken very ill and after a short spell in hospital, she was moved to Bryn Celyn care home.
The service has been outstanding both in terms of arranging her transfer and the care she has received since. The staff have been really nice, helpful and supportive, the food
is excellent and the home itself is very pleasant and airy. Overall outstanding.

Hello, I am the General Manager at Bryn Celyn Care Home. I have over 16 years of experience working within care homes. I am a Registered General Nurse with a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management and I have recently become a Nursing Workforce Standards Champion with the Royal College of Nursing.


I love my role and I am passionate about delivering high-quality, individualised care within our beautiful, homely surroundings. We have a great team here at Bryn Celyn and as a small community, we offer a lot of fun and energy making us that little bit unique.
