My uncle's health has improved considerably since he has been in this care home.
The staff are kind and considerate.
I believe activities are on offer but have been told he declines to get involved.
I am kept informed of everything that's involved with my uncle's care.
His laundry is now being more
carefully monitored which is pleasing. The home is expensive but the care is very good,

Mt mum will be 101 years old in September and is almost blind and deaf and confined mostly to bed. we visit her twice daily and staff are always accessible if we have any concerns. The care and love shown to mum is beyond belief. She is treated as if she is family and I cannot praise Greenhill enough
for making her final years as comfortable and dignified as possible. It is always a pleasure to visit.

The care and professionalism of the staff was second to none. They cared for my mother with care, patience and dignity. She was kept clean, tidy as was her room at all times. The staff were always helpful towards our family if questions needed to be asked and was informed immediately of any change of
circumstance. I would highly recommend this care home to everyone who is looking for care for a loved one.

I have lived at Greenhill Manor Care Home for 3 years and I gradually found out how good it is here and what facilities are available. I am accompanied out shopping when I need to and have just been on a day trip to Bristol Zoo. I am a keen knitter and regularly go to the knitting club. There is also
a gardening club. The care here is of a high standard and I'm treated with the utmost dignity and respect at all times.

I find Greenhill Manor Care Home an excellent care home. All facilities and staff are of a very high standard. My father was a resident and passed away there in 2010 suffering Alzheimer's and now my mother has vascular dementia and has been a resident since September 2014. I have never felt any reasons
to complain or have concerns. Any problems encountered are dealt with the utmost discretion and respect. Care is given with dignity and respect and each resident is treated individually, allowing them their own preferences when possible.

Both my parents have been in Greenhill for 12 months. On the whole, the care and support has been very good. There were some issues with dads care at first - ending in hospitalisation, since then he has been monitored carefully. Mam's care has been very good and improvements to her room have helped
(replacement floor). The staff are very caring and friendly, although sometimes not pro-active. However, they always respond when asked.

My mother has been residing here for a year. We are very pleased with the care and the overall care home. The staff are very friendly, helpful, polite and caring and there are obvious signs that they love what they do and treat residents as if they were their own family. The food is very good- a vast
variety of different dishes and sometimes I eat with my mother at the care home and the food is very good. The cleanliness is excellent, my mother gets showered every morning and clean clothes, her hair washed and blow dried by hairdresser every week and a manicure. Entertainment is very good, normally a singer on a Friday.

Since my mother has been resident at Greenhill Manor she has had excellent care. The staff, carers and management all treat my mother with dignity and are very caring. They show genuine concern for my mother and have an excellent rapport with family and visitors alike. Before moving to Greenhill, my
mother was continually picking up infections and was really unhappy. Her overall health has since improved and her general demeanour has completely changed. She is much happier, as are her family.

My Cousin has been a resident at Greenhill Manor for nearly 4 years now. Prior to my Cousin being placed into care and on the advice of the Manager at Greenhill Manor, who also made the necessary arrangements for my Cousin to visit the home for a couple of hours during his transition from the local
Hospital, to enable him to get a feel for what it was like at Greenhill Manor. We choose this particular Care Home due to its location. My Cousin absolutely loved it there from those couple of hours and remains very contented. Management and Staff are absolutely fantastic and my Cousin is always praising his carers to me each time I visit. He refers to the Home like a Hotel and states he feels like a very welcome guest. From being apprehensive of going into care to being 100% happy makes all the difference to my Cousin and our family, knowing he will be looked after with no worries. Keep up the tremendous work you do, you don't know how much it means. I thank you for that.

My uncle recently had to be rushed to the local hospital and he was accompanied by a staff member from 'Cocklebird' community at Greenhill. When I arrived at the hospital the staff member that accompanied my uncle from the home was doing a brilliant job of keeping my uncle (dementia resident) calm and
the hospital staff fully informed and me updated (I believe he stayed beyond his shift end - a real credit to himself and Greenhill Manor). All the staff I encounter also do an excellent job under often difficult times, not just with my uncle but with all residents who are treated with care, respect and humanity. I am a frequent visitor at all sorts of times.

As General Manager, Karen works to ensure the highest standards are achieved in all areas of the home including relationship-centred care, clinical compliance, hospitality services and business performance.
