He was confused and had a cough, I believed COVID, but the home ignored me, he was not put into quarantine and has most likely infected many others.
He became difficult to manage, which was totally different from his time in the
The home has now refused to 'take him back' even though he has returned to 'normal' management according to the hospital.
Communication has been extremely poor and the risk of COVID spreading was ignored.
Due to COVID home was on lockdown and as such 'satisfactory' means I have no idea.

At Quarry Hall our team has been working tirelessly with the Local Authority and relevant Healthcare Multidisciplinary Agencies to provide a safe environment for both residents and colleagues. During the Covid-19 pandemic, all pre-admission assessments are being carried out over the phone with the expectation that the information provided is accurate to enable us to make informed decisions and safe admissions. Unfortunately, the information provided was not an accurate account of behaviours and presentation on admission. We have a duty to consider the needs of all residents residing in our home to ensure their wellbeing and safety is maintained. Our local General Practice is affording us extraordinary support which includes virtual visits, physical visits or both, daily or as required. Our team is working in unprecedented circumstances and they are altruistic in their approach to caring for our residents.

As a Registered General Nurse, Carla has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and quality of life for Residents.
Having worked at HC-One for over a decade, Carla closely shares HC-One’s vision is aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Carla remarked:
“Being able to support and develop a group of amazing Colleagues from all different backgrounds, to become the better version of themselves. With that valuable team, we are able to support, enhance and have the privilege of actively participating in this outstanding life chapter that our lovely residents are living.”
Outside of work, Carla enjoys nature, animals, knowledge, music, travelling, Sci-Fi and her loved ones.
