My experience dates from 2011 when my late husband stayed in Ty Enfys, care was wonderful and I visited him daily at any time. The staff are superb and morale is high due to the constant praise and encouragement of the management. When my husband eventually died in 2013 his brother needed care and was
in agreement to enter too. It is one reason that I became a volunteer, entering the programme of activities that are daily provided for residents. My own condition is to play songs that evoke memories of the past few decades. My brother in law has just died and I am indebted to the wonderful world of this home in treating and caring for elderly frail people.

Always welcoming and friendly. I can call anytime. My mother is always dressed, clean and comfortable. Staff spend time talking to her and taking her into the garden, going for a sing song and other activities put on at the home. Staff contact me quickly when she is ill and call for the doctor if required.
They feed her if necessary to encourage her to eat.

My father was transferred to Ty Enfys as an emergency, he was in an extremely poor state of health. The care from the nursing staff, carers at Ty Enfys has been excellent in every respect. The staff are dedicated professionals who treat my father with dignity, which is how every elderly vulnerable person
should be treated.

My father has complex medical needs and was in a care home that couldn't cope with him. He moved to Ty Enfys at the end of January (to their EMI nursing unit). He was very confused and angry with the move at first and was a challenge. However, within a week I saw a different man, happy, smiling, engaging
in conversation ... back to my dad again! I can't thank the staff in Ty Enfys enough for their help, support, patience and care with my dad. They were wonderful and have turned him around completely.

The family have noticed a big improvement in Dad. He loves the food and is awake much more than previously. Staff always speak to us and make us feel welcome. Standard if facility and ambience excellent. Good, convenient location, staff are extremely friendly, approachable and professional. Some rooms could do with being a little larger, eg. bar, TV room and lounge, but this is only a minor criticism.

Staff are always welcoming and always happy and never sad. All the time they are laughing and singing, they never get stressed with a resident. I can sleep at night knowing that my grandad is safe, I like being able to eat with my grandad and you or anybody is never worried. The home is very clean and
tidy, and always nice and loud. The people in the home are like part of the family and most of the residents are very nice.

Dad has settled in well and the environment is pleasant, clean and welcoming. A week or so after dad moved into Ty Enfys he had a period of ill health and we were very impressed with the attentive and caring approach of all the staff supporting him. We always feel welcome when we visit each day and

My aunt has been a resident at Ty Enfys for over a year now, initially in the car floor. And latterly in the nursing floor. The care and love shown to all residents by all the staff continually amazes me. Nothing is too much trouble and all their happiness is infectious and I admire their dedication
and selflessness every time I visit. From reception to carers, caters, managers and others, too may to mention, the staff are a compliment of whom your organisation can be very proud of.

I cannot praise Ty Enfys enough. Everyone who works there are one big team/family. The care provided is the best you could ever wish for. I would say it is more like a 5* hotel. It is extremely hard for family members to face a loved one moving into a care home, however, Ty Enfys does not feel like
or look like a care home. I spend a lot of my time visiting and have got to know all the residents very well, and also the staff. I think all care homes should follow Ty Enfys their approach to dementia is excellent. The food is also excellent my husband has never eaten so well, my 9 year old granddaughter often visits with me. She loves to eat with the residents and her granddad. Excellent place, Excellent staff, extremely well organised always clean and tidy and most of all, all staff are always smiling and happy. Thank you everyone at Ty Enfys.

My father has been cared for in an exceptional way, he has been treated with dignity, good humour, encouragement and understanding. He suffered with the loss of my mother in May and his transition to the care home could not have been better. What is particularly pleasing is the teams effort displayed
by all who work in the home. They refer to issues for advice when needed and I can be sure that they will all recap my thoughts across the team. The home is warm hearted, welcoming and provides outstanding all round care.

We are delighted to have been recognised as one of the top 20 care homes in the whole of Wales.
