Everyone is extremely approachable and friendly and have a lot of compassion for the residents. I feel I can telephone and speak to the staff about my mum's care whenever I feel the need. They are understanding and supportive of both my mum and myself.

Your mother entering a care facility is an anxious time for all concerned. We got a reassuring feeling the first time we visited. Ty Enfys were diligent and professional in the early assessments and in placing mum in the most appropriate setting. The staff at the care home have been warm, responsive
and friendly in mum's care. We have confidence that she will feel secure and content at Ty Enfys.

My mother has been in Ty Enfys for almost five years. The care has always been excellent and the staff are invariably friendly and helpful. It is, of course, less than ideal being unable to visit at present but under the circumstances, the staff are doing their best to keep us in touch.

Since my mum has been a resident at Ty Enfys in Cardiff, I can't speak highly enough of the care she has received. Despite the restrictions that have been in place we've been able to stay in contact and see the way in which my mum has flourished. The staff at Ty Enfys really seem to care so much for
me and mum, and nothing seems to be too much trouble. The care my mum has received has relieved so much of the stress and worry we had before she moved in there.

The staff have always been very courteous and helpful. The nursing staff, in particular, have been very attentive to the medical needs of the resident and acted swiftly to avoid further problems. It has been difficult during the pandemic but they seem to have coped very well.

My husband is in the very late stages of Alzheimer's disease. Ty Enfys has looked after him for two years with expertise and caring attention to his every need. His room is lovely and he is kept comfortable. All the staff are friendly and our family has been given compassionate support. During the Covid
19 pandemic full attention has been devoted to keeping safe residents, staff and visitors. Residents are immensely grateful to be given regular updates on the situation. One has felt confident that our loved ones are continuing to receive the best and most appropriate care.

It has been a difficult few months with the COVID pandemic and I am extremely grateful to the team at Ty Enfys for taking such good care of my mum. I could not have coped with caring for her at home, so having the peace of mind that she is safe and cared for has been worth the world to me. I cannot

The staff have also kept me informed about my mother-in-law's care. The weekly e-mail advising what was going on in the home during COVID has been helpful. My mother has been extremely well looked after in Ty Enfys since admission in April. Unfortunately, she was made palliative during the difficult situation of Coronavirus. The staff have been very caring, keeping us informed of her progress, often when we call multiple times a day. They have accommodated
for us to see her and have been extremely compassionate both to her and us. We couldn't have asked for better care, especially given the circumstances of the pandemic. Many thanks to each and every member of the team.

We are extremely pleased with the care my sister-in-law has received from Ty Enfys care home. The care and support have been excellent, we have seen an improvement in her demeanour and her health as she requires 24-hour care and support. The carers are very friendly and treat her with care and dignity.
The Office staff at Ty Enfys are very welcoming, helpful and very supportive regarding visits to see her, as she has limited mobility and also the impact of COVID-19. The communication between the care home staff and our family has been outstanding, my sister-in-law ensures we are updated with her progress through regular emails.
The care home app has been a godsend, especially throughout COVID-19. The staff have ensured that my sister-in-law has been able to receive and send videos regularly. She seems very relaxed and happy, that reassures us that she is being cared for and supported at the highest level.
We could not have asked for a better care home and would not hesitate to recommend Ty Enfys.

My friend has been looked after very well from her very first day at the home, the staff have been very professional and helpful. It is so good to see my friend in a caring, friendly and happy environment were is well looked after. The care home has done a fantastic job with Covid-19 about and has kept
us well informed, it is also great to be able to facetime with her to encourage, boost her morale and keep her smiling in these difficult times, well done to all at the care home and stay safe.

Ty Enfys gives such good care to my mother, I can relax for the first time in months. The staff are friendly, cheerful, practical and totally professional. The facilities are lovely and activities always varied, and encouraged but not pushed. I really feel Mum is in the best place, given her recent

Mum was very poorly when she arrived, care was set up as an emergency. Staff were so supportive and understanding. Within a month Mum was able to return to her own home due to the care she received at Ty Enfys. Thank you.

Mum always seems content and well cared for. Always smiles when singing which has been particularly lovely over Christmas. I was very worried about Mum coming to a home but I did not need to be with her at Ty Enfys.

I’m General Manager at Ty Enfys and have enjoyed working here for ten years. I completed my nursing degree in 1984 and then worked in the Middle East until 1999, gaining experience in nursing, psychiatric medicine and oncology. I am proud to be part of a passionate team that put the happiness of residents at the heart of everything we do. We are delighted to have been recognised as one of the top 20 care homes in the whole of Wales.
