My mother was safe, secure, well-fed and cared for during her time at Ty Enfys. The staff came across as genuine caring for my mother and engaged with her as an individual, not just another resident or patient.

The staff at Ty Enfys afforded my mother a great deal of respect, care and dignity. She was a reluctant resident but they helped her to settle and engage with the new life and activities as much as possible. They showed genuine regard and affection. At the end of her life, she was kept pain free and
comfortable and the family were very well supported.

My aunt needs and gets a lot of care and welfare. The staff are amazing and I would like to thank them.
One complaint, her wheelchair is often dirty and needs a clean.

My father-in-law had a wonderful stay at Ty Enfys. All the staff from the management team, to the nurses and carers, (of whom we had most contact), through to the wider team throughout the home, could not help enough. It felt like the care and concern was genuine and this making it a home from home.
We all hope to return for 'respite' in the future.

We have been very impressed with the speed that Ty Enfys staff responded to our request for urgent nursing care for my mother when she hurt her back. She has settled in so well and from being tired and depressed, despite home care, she has reverted to the mother that we remember from a year ago, bright,
happy and involved with the staff and other residents and the many activities on offer. She frequently tells us how happy she is at Ty Enfys and how the staff really care. The staff have also answered any queries we have had promptly to set our minds at rest at a stressful time.

The whole team at Ty Enfys are professional and caring in their approach to the residents. This gave the family great confidence in Mum's care for the relatively short while she was at Ty Enfys. We were supported as a whole family in a considerate and sympathetic way. If something needed doing, there
was a real 'can do' approach and I never heard the comment 'it's not my job'. If we had approached the wrong member of the team then we were redirected and helped. Ty Enfys provided high standard and compassionate care and I would have no hesitation in recommending the service. Thank you.

I would like to thank all of the dedicated staff at Ty Enfys for their help in organising my Mother in Law's 100th birthday party on 16th May. Everyone at the party commented on how lovely the atmosphere was and the delicious buffet provided by the resident chef. A special mention to the lady who made
the wonderful birthday cakes - amazing! Thank you all - she enjoyed it so much. You made her special day exceptional.

The care my Mum received was exceptional during the 2 years she lived here. The home was welcoming for my Mum and her visitors. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff. The facilities and environment were good, always clean and fresh. My Mum was treated by all staff with love and kindness. She

I would like to thank the nursing staff at Ty Enfys for their second to none service in caring for my grandfather.
The staff are fantastic and the level of support was amazing. They are very proactive and attentive.

My father was a resident at Ty Enfys for exactly a year before he passed away. He was very ill throughout his stay and the nursing care he received was excellent. Both the nurses and the carers were superb and took great pains to preserve his dignity and keep him comfortable whilst enabling him to enjoy
his stay as best he was able. Ty Enfys has a lovely atmosphere, it is spotless and the decor is continually updated to celebrate various events throughout the year. There is a resident dog, Ted, who is on hand to provide comfort and fun for everyone and every day there are activities for residents and their families to enjoy. The cafe is a lovely meeting place for residents and families and small events take place in this area for everyone to enjoy. The administrative staff are always attentive and helpful. The bedrooms are comfortable and each one has its own en-suite facilities so residents can also enjoy privacy whenever they want.

Very friendly reception staff. Friendly and caring support staff, nurses efficient, caring and helpful.
Room a little on the small side, excellent activities.
Food for most residents excellent but a bit boring when restricted to fork mashed.

I completed my nursing degree in 1984 and then worked in the Middle East until 1999, gaining experience in nursing, psychiatric medicine and oncology. I am proud to be part of a passionate team that put the happiness of residents at the heart of everything we do. We are delighted to have been recognised as one of the top 20 care homes in the whole of Wales.
