I started working for Shaw as a Team Leader, soon after being promoted to Deputy Manager and then Manager. Working for Shaw, I feel I have a good professional support network around me. Senior Management has listened and gone over and above to support the service and myself.
Cwm Celyn, in particular, is a Specialist Service which provides a very dedicated and focused team, with a person-centred care approach being paramount. I am very humbled to be part of such a proactive and committed service.
I love my role and respect all who I work with, I look forward to leading Cwm Celyn to achieve the best care for our residents, supporting all to live the best possible life with encouraging daily activities to motivate and maintain mental and physical health and well-being.

I started my role within Shaw at Cwm Celyn just over a year ago as a Maintenance Operative. Since I have been here I have found the staff and residents very friendly and a joy to work with.
I find Shaw as a company really good to work for and I find my job has different challenges every day and no two days are ever the same.

I enjoy supporting our residents on a daily basis and I enjoy supporting them with all their needs. The parties that our Activity Champions arrange are brilliant and get all the residents and team smiling, dancing and enjoying each other’s company - it really is heart-warming.
Our Manager is brilliant and our staff are an excellent team to work with.
