Overall home is good. My Mother likes to stay in her room, occasionally she will visit the lounge but doesn't partake in activities. However, she needs to be encouraged to leave her room for the room to be deep cleaned.
As for laundry, it is clean but unable to buy pleated skirts as the laundry person
puts them in the drier, have asked not to put them in the drier as pleats come out and underwear not white must be mixed with colours. Some good carers but occasionally have found my Mum wet think Mam could be encouraged to use the toilet more often, have spoken to the manager and hopefully this will be rectified.

The team here has looked after my Dad for years and knows exactly how to keep him happy and content. He knows the staff's voices and this makes everything much easier for him. I can't thank them enough for the care and patience they have.

My Mum is extremely happy at Pen-y-Bont. She is well cared for and kept very busy with the daily entertainment programme. She has made lots of new friends, which is wonderful, as she is very sociable. The staff are very friendly, kind and helpful. We are very happy with the care Mum receives.

My Mother has resided here for the last 3 months. I cannot fault the staff or services provided. They have put my mind at ease with her care and I know she's in a safe environment where she wasn't previously, the staff are always helpful and go out of their way to make Mum's stay a good one.

I have found both management and staff friendly and helpful. They provide help and support to the residents and visitors and answer any questions I may have. It is always clean and tidy. The garden is a lovely space to sit weather permitting. Entertainment is provided most days along with activities.
There are excursions twice a month for those who are able to go. Hairdresser weekly visit. All satisfactory.

A lovely, clean place that is very well managed. The care my mother has received since arriving here has been brilliant, all the staff are very friendly and take great care of her. The activities that the care home provides for the residents have been incredible and are a great way of keeping everyone
occupied and happy.
The social media page that the care home runs is also a great way of keeping up to date with activities and seeing family members enjoying themselves.

Although my brother is not the best person to nurse these carers are wonderful with him. We couldn't wish for him to be in a better place. It is lovely to have peace of mind knowing he is being cared for the way he is.

A well-organised and caring establishment with superb staff who are all very welcoming and homely. Everyone shows affection for my mother and attended to her needs, physically and medically. The overall decoration of the home could benefit from fresh decorations. However floors done, decorating may

We have been happy with dad's care at Pen-y-Bont since May. Whenever we have raised a concern or have made a suggestion regarding dad's care, we have been listened to, and they have been open to discussion and responded appropriately, if necessary. The management and staff have always been friendly,
caring, and extremely helpful. Dad seems as content as he could be under his circumstances. My dad said feels very secure and safe.

My mother was in the home for 2 years and was looked after very well. The staff working there went above and beyond to make sure she was OK and when the lockdown started and my mam was taken ill and was in bed for 7 weeks, they were marvellous with her. They were very supportive to the family, Facetiming
us every day so we could see her and speak to her.
