Trafalgar Park Care Home, located in the village of Nelson, near Caerphilly, provides high quality personalised residential, nursing and dementia care to older people.

The purpose-built friendly and welcoming care home has a café, large landscaped garden and patio, pub, tea room, hair salon and quiet room. There is also a range of comfortable en-suite bedrooms, suitable to all tastes.

On top of this, Trafalgar Park boasts a selection of specially designed dining areas that provide the perfect space to share meals with fellow residents or welcome family and friends for those special occasions. The catering team prides itself on ensuring that each meal is an enjoyable experience for every resident and visitor, offering a varied and delicious menu.

Taking the time to learn about each resident’s individual hobbies and interests, the team create a varied and enriching lifestyle programme full of activities and events to get involved in, reflective of each person's hobbies and interests. In addition to the range of activities available, residents are also encouraged to take an active role in the Nelson community.

My brother has been a resident here for one month and I am pleased to say I am very impressed with the attitude of management and staff. I believe the personnel are genuinely interested in their work and it shows in the care given. The Manager is an excellent ambassador for your company. Keep up the

The care in the above home is absolutely outstanding. They not only care for the resident but are sympathetic towards the family also, making them feel welcome at all times and understanding at difficult times. Safety of the residents was always their main concern. I felt that the staff there were part
of my family.

When you come into Trafalgar Park Care Home we are immediately struck by the friendliness of the wonderful staff the cheery coloured surroundings and the lovely bright artwork and the interaction between the staff and the folks staying here. Even the singing.

The care my mother has received over several years has been and continues to be first class. The staff are always helpful, polite and very professional. They always display a pleasant nature and always make me feel welcome when I visit my mother. In my opinion, the home is first class and the structural

I visit on a regular basis to see a friend who is a resident.
The staff at Trafalgar Park are exceptionally friendly and the overall feeling of the home is one of calm.
The rooms are spotless and I cannot find any fault at all over the few months that I have been coming.

My mother is a resident of Trafalgar Park. I pop in and out at different times and different days as I work shifts. Every time I visit here all staff are extremely helpful and always go out of their way to care and help the residents and members of families. The care is exceptional and I personally
would definitely recommend this home. Whatever needs my mother has at any time of day/night are met. I would not, or my family, want my mother anywhere else. The food is also excellent with alternatives.

My family and I have found the care home very friendly and welcoming. All the staff are always pleasant and frequently offer cups of tea and coffee. Cleanliness is very good throughout and my brother is always kept very clean. We are very happy with the care he is receiving.

Staff at the care home are wonderful., They are very caring and treat the residents as individuals, doing their best for each and every one., They are very welcoming to visitors and give full information to family members when there has been a problem. Trafalgar Park Care Home is a "Jewel" to be found
