There is a well trained team working to create a caring, welcoming and homely environment. Residents are treated with a great deal of care and dignity. The building appears to be going through a refurbishment scheme and there is a high standard of cleanliness throughout.

I had to make the decision to find a care home for Mum and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do but due to her deterioration and long hospital stay, I had no choice. We tried a couple of residential but didn't think residential was the right place for her to be. I contacted Morgannwg House,
having heard great things so got in touch with the help of Mum's social worker. The manager and deputy manager came to do a review and have a chat, they were amazing and we were offered a tour the following week. What a beautiful house with all the rooms a fantastic size. Within a few weeks, Mum moved and we haven't looked back. All the staff are so helpful, caring and sensitive and she has nursing care 24 hours a day. No time limits on visits, the food is lovely and it is the best thing we have done. If I could give 1000 stars I would. I take her out and I know she enjoys it, but to see her smiling at all the staff when we return is priceless. Thank you Morgannwg House and all the staff for making a hard decision easier.

The family needed to find a nursing home for my mother as a result of her discharge from hospital in December 2022. An initial visit to view the home was made in early December and we were accompanied by the manager at that visit and have met several times since admission of our mother, which was between
Christmas and New Year. On all visits both the manager and staff have been friendly and attentive with all our questions and requests promptly answered and resolved. Although it has only been just over three weeks since admission all initial impressions are very favourable.

Job Title: Registered Manager

I started working in the industry over 10 years ago as a carer. I have worked in Residential, Nursing and Domiciliary settings.

I progressed to a senior carer and then care coordinator, until an opportunity arose for me to manage a domiciliary care company whilst studying to gain my level 5 in Management in October 2021.

Having worked my way up into a management role I have a greater understanding of the needs of the residents in my care and can assist the team in providing high standards. My goal is to keep striving to provide the best person-centred care with dedication and empathy to our residents, extended family, and team.
